{The Official 2021-22 NBA Thread} - Finals: Warriors vs Celtics…{4-2 advantage warriors } Dubs NBA champs, Curry MVP

He is not but he is a major upgrade from the lackluster players in Powell and Kleber who played the 5.
Plus Dallas didn’t give up much for him.
Makes sense for Houston because Sengun is much better.
We got Wood for the 26th pick….shit is a steal. He and Luka about to eat.

Getting rid of someone who stunted the growth of their young players.

This was the stats of KPJ & Green the last 6 games of the season when they shut down Wood.

They not gonna win shit letting them two dominate the ball like they did. But they gonna put up some dope stats.

Wood is nowhere near a center. He has a center's body but he thinks he's KD. He gets bodied in the paint by everyone. He can score but can be selfish on offense at times. He fucked with the chemistry of a young Rockets team.

He should play more under control with a veteran team in Dallas but Rockets fans collectively wanted him gone.

I do think the Rockets could have got more for him but his contract was up after this season & the Rockets weren't re-signing him.
That’s a steal for the Mavs. Rockets should’ve traded him last year or before the deadline this year….I don’t know if the move works out but as of right now it’s a steal. Rockets got the 26th pick for a big who just averaged a double double last year. I get he was expendable but just a terrible trade.

Rockets weren't winning shit with Wood either who was all about his stats & didn't play team ball. Rockets have a young promising big man in Sengun that they need to give more minutes to. And word is they'll pick the Duke big man Banchero at #3 who is a good play maker for himself & others.

They had to get rid of Wood, cats were getting frustrated with him.

Mavs offense will be potent but I think you all should have focused on big who could shut things down on the defensive end. I don't know the Mavs cap situation but someone like Ayton would be a perfect fit & put y'all as front runners next season.

I wish Charlotte had done it...we got two first round pics this year and that would bring Christian Wood back to where he started..could have thrown Gordon Hayward in for good measure.. :smh:

I'm pulling for the Warriors and hope Steph gives a LEBRONesque “CAN I GET MY DAMN RESPECT!!!” speech but I think if the Celtics win tonight they will win the series because of the road they've been down this post season. They've beaten KD, went 7 games with Giannis, went 7 games and survived a potential game winning shot by Jimmy against Miami and now they would be in a Game 7 against Steph, that's just a playoffs that should end in a championship

They trying to find anyway to say Wiggins or Klay could get the Finals MVP, Skip talking about if Klay score 40 in Game 6 and 50 in Game 7

I think this shit ends tonight. Unless the Celtics shoots lights out. But that doesn’t seem likely.

Brown and Tatum have maxed out on their abilities to do anything more than what we have seen. Their inability to consistently get to the paint is their weakness. They are not going to all of a sudden stop turning the ball over either. So that’s that.

We’ll see what happens.

Yeah that was the dumbest thing anybody ever heard when they said that about KD and he was even dumber for going out there and trying to play

Bruh, I will literally NEVER forget that!

KD had a hurt ankle...

I believe it was his achilles all along but they said ankle so we'll go with that.

When the Warriors doctors and Kerr said that playing on it wouldn't make it worse, I said

How could playing on an injured part of your body not make it worse? I'm still dumbfounded by that response.

And of course he goes out and plays and ruptures his achilles :rolleyes2:

Nobody was even surprised when he tore Achilles because everybody on the sports shows was saying he risk the possibility of tearing his Achilles so when it happened it was like I told y'all it was going to happen

Oh I agree he was expendable but that trade was a joke lol….full of dnp players….he’s better than that.

I mean that’s still possible. Wood can play the 4. I think we just need a Javale McGee type. That’s more realistic.
