{The Official 2021-22 NBA Thread} - Finals: Warriors vs Celtics…{4-2 advantage warriors } Dubs NBA champs, Curry MVP

At what point in his career did Lebron not try and get the best players?
At what point in any championship team's career did they not trade to get the best players possible?
It's always happened every fucking time but just THIS TIME something is wrong with them upgrading when they could
that's why its hoe shit.

The warriors were the warriors before Steph Curry
entire franchise history is nothing but losing an 8 seed we believe run and tim hardaway and chris webber had a few moments

the warriors literally don't make the playoffs without steph curry so why not apply that SAME FUCKING RESPECT?

Curry took the warriors to the playoffs with DAVID LEE AND JARETT JACK AS PEOPLE HE HAD TO DEPEND ON.

Klay Thompson averaged less than draymond green who averaged less than Andre Iguodala who averaged 16ppg in that finals
you want to talk about team not knowing how to play and no help tell me WHO ON THE COURT was killing them outside of steph curry?
NOBODY
so give him his motherfucking respect PERIOD.

Nobody said lebron doesn't deserve praise I've praised him
Yall just don't praise curry
and that's why its hoe shit lol he's done everything you want your star to do and much fucking more at 6'3 but because he snatched rings from lebron the eternal hate is there. even now people don't want him to win so he won't have the same number of rings as lebron lol
catty karen shit.

With Watson he just like rub and tugs that ain't a crime IMO
You're not telling the truth. I don't know who 'ya'll' is because I praise curry. I've done so numerous times in this thread. Best shooter of all time. I've given him respect for his GAME. Check where I said people will hate on Curry, Lebron, and Luka because they are that damn good. That's even if they don't do any questionable shit.

As a cavs fans, damn right I wouldn't like the warriors regardless. I wouldn't call them busting the cavs ass bitch shit had they not begged KD to join a 73-win squad. Didn't call Jordan busting our asses with the shot or knocking the team out when the Cavs were winning bitch shit. Hated Jordan and the bulls for that shit.

He didn't snatch anything from Lebron. He ran and got big bro. Ain't nobody with a 73 win team that was just in the finals go beg someone to come share big dog status. Steph didn't need KD's bitch ass. How's that for respecting his game? You don't invite someone to take YOUR MVP trophy. :smh:

Hell, I can admit the Cavs fluked their way into that 2016 chip. But I'll take it. See how easy that shit is? It still a championship. Might be tainted in the eyes of other and I can understand why. See how easy that is? I'm a cavs fans so I'm biased, see I admit that too. But it's folks outside of Cavs fans think those GS chips are gumball rings. Just like folks outside of GS fans say about Cavs in 16. It is what it is, but we enjoyed those rides.

History don't give a shit about the little things. I'm a Lakers fan and I'll go to my grave thinking, "If Malone would have been healthy for those Finals against the Pistons, the Lakers would have won". Before my time but I think it was the '89 Finals when Byron Scott and Magic got hurt and the Pistons again beat the Lakers. History don't care if Draymond got unjustly suspended for a game. The Cavs still got that chip.

And Lowery bum ass always got some sage advice for teammates when he playing like shit and the team getting they ass kicked. Nigga shut yo lil dusty chunky ass the fuck up and make some shots.

I said it before....

if the sixers dont at least get to the conference finals or the finals even if they lose....next season will be the last season in phillly for embiid. at this point he's on Charles Barkley's trajectory in philly and will demand a trade if not engineer one himself by 2024. Everyone else did it...KD did it with OKC to golden state, Lebron with clev and miami. there plenty of examples..hell hardens the biggest one. If the sixers dont get to the conf finals this year the process will officially be a bust.

could that tweet be a possible hint at a destination if next season doesn't show progress??

Im watching delayed.. Game was still in reach and niggas scattered like roaches. Horrible fans. Worst home court advantage in pro sports. Trash fanbase.
I wanna see the best players on the best teams period. And they beat LBJ without KD so that statement, you made, makes no sense. My point isn't about their championships but more about KD leaving to play with Kyrie. I'm still baffled by that shit..

Now that I see the Turd all out for Miami, I think I'm going to go ahead and take out a future on the Celtics to win the next series
You would be a fool to pick the Celtics
Just like I was a fool when I went and put money on Kansas right after you predicted the Tar Heels were going to win?????????

Okay :money:
Miami Heat fans, I know the series isn't over just yet, but remember I tried to warn you just like I tried to warn Cincinnati Bengals fans, N.C. Tar Heels fans, so on and so forth...

Now if only I could get @Dr. Truth to finally come out and publicly make a pick then I'll be onto something :hellyea:

GS v Boston should be a good championship series ( I hope)

I'm a Lakers fan so fuck them Celtics but I really like Jaylen Brown. The media def wants the lightskin Kobe, Tatum to be the new face of the league.

This Finals would be all about Steph though. 2 time MVP and 4 time champ if they win, gotta get at least 1 Finals MVP. Getting it this year would def solidify Steph's legacy.

Damn...forgot about dude.

Yeah fuck the Celtics

Atta-boy Trilla.

NBA shitted in Embiid big time. Very shameful shit. They could have booted Tatum or Booker off :smh:
The season awards continue to display just how trash the voting process is in the league. You can be 1st or 2nd in the MVP talks all year and still not make the 1st all team, just because of positions.

Even though most teams shift positions consistently throughout the games and some teams even all completely positionless.

I was done with these b.s. awards after 13' when Gasol win DPOY and barely made it on the 2nd all defensive team. How does that make any bloody sense?

C'mon man.
I fucks with Mia. I really do. I got family down there and everything. But c'mon with that picture.

I've been calling out the Miami fanbase all playoffs. The arena only looks packed like that in the 2nd quarter most of the times.

People are still filing in during a lot of the 1st. Then they're stuck in bathroom/ concessions lines during a lot of the 3rd. And unless the games are super competitive (which none of these have been) the 4th quarter is usually a game of spot all the empty red seats.

I feel bad for the Heat. They have a good squad. Much better then my sorry ass Sixers and yet that Miami fanebase is truly m.i.a. this year.

The serious issue I have is that these awards now directly effect players MONEY

LITERALLY

Contractual incentives are triggered by these awards

So if the media just don't like you?

It can seriously and negatively effect your money.

The later start times have helped people get there before tip.
If you work anywhere besides downtown Miami chances are you are going to have a hard time making it by tip on a normal night.
The arenas in most cities have multiple routes to get there.
We have water on one side of the arena and basically one highway to get there.
The attendance is one of the top on the league and has been for years.

Yeah its just not a sports city like that. Unless the Dolphins are any good or the U. It's not like it is here in the north.

You know what I think it is watching on tv Doe........those red steps seem to make it look like the arena is empty somehow. Even when it's full. Some arenas on tv give off that strange illusion. You did talk about teh late arrival. Never knew traffic was that bad down there.

Question...

Would they come out full force if the team was just mediocre?

It's crazy that you mentioned how it looks on tv cause I was rewatching the GS/Mavs game and I figured out what Miami should be doing to minimize the problem.

Most teams give out free t-shirts for playoff games so the crowd can look like a solid unit on tv. In Dallas for example the shirts they give out are not only blue, but the exact same shade of blue as the chairs.

So whether it's the 2nd quarter of a tight game or the start of the 3rd and people are still in the bathroom, on tv all you see is a solid wall of blue.

Miami's issue is that their free shirts are bright white while the arena seating is dark red. Miami might be more of a football city but I know for a fact that the Heat got some real ass, down since day one fans. Those white shirts on red backgrounds ain't doing no one any favors though
