Marvel woke up today and said......let me remind y'all who the fuck we are!!

I think the fans have spoken. But, what does this mean for Monica Rambeau?

Marvel Dumps ‘Captain Marvel’, Replaces ‘The Marvels’ with ‘Ant-Man 3’

Admittedly, the last few projects were lack luster. Now they have to be more selective and deliberate to right the ship.

Talk about a clickbait title... Lol

The hate for Captain Marvel and Ms. Marvel is crazy...

You obliviously didn't read the article you posted.

They switched release dates

Damn, watched a spoiler vid on YouTube. That shit sounds wild as fuck. The fact professor x is confirmed by marvel implies there is a bigger surprise coming. Elizabeth Olsen deserves an Oscar

I can tell your ass didn't read it. They moved to Marvels to SUMMER. It's a better movie season.

That movies coming out in 3 days those idiots need to be patient. What's the point in spoiling shit? I thought people didn't like spoilers. I want to know as less about a movie as possible before I see it if I'm laying for it.
Depends on the person. I like spoilers personally. They make me more excited to see a film TBH. That said, I wouldn't post spoilers publically. I'm not that kind of guy.

I actually think it's a good decision on DC's part not to have all their eggs in the DCEU basket. AFAIK, Joker and The Batman aren't DCEU but I could be wrong. Putting all of your films and shows in the same universe, could limit the scope and quality of certain titles and jeopardize any future work if people turn against the overall direction you're taking your cinematic universe.

They need to step up production. No reason not to have more DC movies coming out.

Yup, their initial mistake was to try and replicate the MCU in the first place. Let DC stay unique and steer into making stories for adults and they'll be fine. Artistically DC>>>>marvel. But Disney is the king of business and formula.

True. What they do have over Marvel, and what I appreciate, are high quality animated films. Those are cheaper to make than live-action and can nearly as good as the best film.

You hit the nail on the head. Honestly, they should explore their Elseworlds and Vertigo stuff a lot more. I would love to see them tackle The Endless for example.

PLEASE Elaborate on this, "Artistically DC>>>..MARVEL"... as an avid comics fan/aficionado is wish to understand what brought you to this point...

Thanks

The MCU in particular (not talking comics as both are wildly creative companies) has been following a formula since ironman one, don't get me wrong it makes perfect sense because its been crazy successful but imo they've been creatively handcuffed by their own success and formula.(not to mention china) they've been making joss whedon style flicks since phase one. And I'm not hating, I still enjoy MCU movies and DC has a long long long way to go lol it's just funny to me when people start talking about how amazing something like the newest Spiderman was when it was basically good because it referenced and retread material from better films.

i dont mind the theories, but spoilers 2 days before it comes out is some bullshit

thats why i try to see the ones i like right away, just so i can open Youtube, and Twitter without it being ruined
