i saw a report asking why Devin Booker wasn’t in the MVP conversation right now and the commentators were saying it‘s because he hasn’t been in the conversation all year and Embiid and Jokic have so it’s a 2 man race, the Suns have the best record in the NBA, have already secured home court advantage throughout the playoffs and just this week the Suns have beaten both the Sixers and Nuggets with Booker putting up over 30 points in both games, make it make sense

It won't ever make sense. It should be a 2 man race between Book and Embiid if there's any race at all. I think Embiid got it on lock but Jokic is out. Has to be. Record aside, lack of help aside, hard to award an MVP to a player on a team fighting to avoid the play in.

I did the exact same thing. I figured the Lakers had it in the bag and the Nets/Hornets game had more stakes going for it since they're fighting over the 8th seed. Next thing I know the ticker are the bottom of the screen was saying that the game was over and the Lakers lost
