Most Steelers fans wouldn't recognize Stephen Tuitt if he was walking around in a grocery store but will recognize Evegeni Malkin in a heartbeat. Does that mean Pittsburgh is a hockey town 1st and football 2nd? Hell fuckin no!!!!! It's not a knock. It's just the way it is.
Oh, and I don't have to live in New York to know this. I've been there enough times and live close enough with full access to the local media to know these things about the city and its fan base.
