Ledo’s chain or the original one? Cause that’s two different pies all together.

The chains are everywhere but the original one is in College Park. Their sauce ain’t as sweet as the chains.

If yaw into other DMV spots, I’d HIGHLY recommend two spots in MD.. Stained Glass Pub in Silver Spring and Continental Pizza in Kensington. Both battle for best Pizza in the area year in year out.

Ridiculously good MD style pies.

My man you putting me on! Yeah I have been to both Ledo's, but didn't know there was a difference between the College Park location and the other locations....The College Park location does have the best though....

Look, I’m down to try alotta shit… But what in the actual fuck is this nonsense?!?

I can’t understand how this goes together bruh ..

@tallblacknyc guess we know why Cali ain’t get no love :puke::puke::puke:
Basura

Thats your opinion but those wops you hate so bad invented pizza why wouldn’t they make the best. DiFara is good as fuck . Period . You’re just being contrarian for the sake of it

It was a white man who invented basketball but look who dominates it right now. Just because you invent something dont mean you're automatically the best at it. That said, that pizza looks good af made by them old italians

Yessir  The original Ledos taste slightly different from the chains and their menu is different too. More options overall.

The best pizza I ever had was from a shop called Ray Bari (I was in Junior High School at the time, and the store was located on 76 street and Third Avenue in Manhattan).
The crust was thick (I'll eat thin crust, but I prefer thick), the tomato sauce was sweet, and the cheese. They gave you so much cheese, that some off cheese would fall of into the plate, and it could have been it's own separate meal. They also made great SicilIan pizzas also!
Nowadays, I am a little reluctant to go into some pizza shops because too many of them are making thin crust and want to charge you "an arm and a leg" for a slice.

PS. If anyone in New York City knows of any good pizza shops, could you be so kind as to list a few that you would recommend. (Thanks)!
This the spot I like to fuck with.. they got so many other things on the menu.. oh yeah for you nigs that like to go on frugal dates truss grab something here and the broad gonna look like what but when she eat it gonna be all smiley face.. veal/chicken Parmesan and spaghetti like 14/16 bucks shit will last for like 2-3 days

Its a dumping ground for sauce, soggy dough and cheese. Shits trash. Bread bowl soup level fuck shit.

Decent novelty act on a 'once in a blue moon' scenario at best.
Breh if you don't get your old ass digornio rising crust so soft you can gum a slice ass outta here...

You obviously have never had thin crust or deep dish in Chicago.
Chicago hands down has the lock on thin crust, deep dish is just a kicker to solidify why we are the best pizza city.

Never had chicago thin. I was specifically talking that mud puddle of tomato soup trash you call "deep dish". Its shit. And nobody outside of that crime infested, corrupt shithole of a city would say otherwise. Fuck chicago deep dish. And nigga, fuck you too.

Thanks, and Tall, I must say your "Player game" is like Thanos (from the Avengers:Endgame)! I can see the woman you're out with thinking she's going to Ricardo's (across the street), and you take her to the pizza shop, lol!

You said a spin off of European pizza…umm the euros created pizza..all these shits is a spin off

But European pizza is a style. Don’t know if you’ve been in Europe and actually had the pizza there, but every country I’ve tried it in, in Europe, all tastes the same. So it’s a style.
Detroit Pizza is invented by Sicilians, in Detroit though.
Chicago pizza was invented by Italians, in Chicago.
NY pizza, is just pizza. Not saying it’s nasty, cause I’ve had it and liked it.

Lmaoooo Lmaoooo

only true nyers will get that joke

Being a "financially challenged" brother, I realized that pizza might be a good option for a date. Please review the following segment:

This shit is legendary.. I remember seeing this in the movies and me and my boys were cracking up cause this is the most headnod to a nyer ever.. this scene touched my soul

long walks, good convo, and cheap eats this is the ny way

I had Pizza in Italy and was disappointed. I know I might have went to the wrong places but still.

Yeah. You’re right. I go to the other locations not the one in College Park. I believe I have been to Stained Glass Pub back in the day. I believe in the very early 2000’s when I use to live up there. I don’t think I have ever tried Continental Pizza in Kensington.

Hey, by any chance, are you Peter Rosenberg?

Haha nah bro, but I do see him around. He frequents our local deli (Parkway) when he’s home, so I’ve run into him there before. But nah, he ain’t half the DJ I am lmao

Those spots are solid tho. If you ever get the chance, give em a go. Monday’s and Tuesdays, the pizza is half off, just gotta buy a drink. Best deal around for that level pie.

I use to live up there back in the late 90’s and early 2000’s. We talked about that. I remember you saying that you went to BCC. We had a few other conversations that led me to believe you’re Peter Rosenberg. If you aren’t truly him then I know he is your peoples which is cool. I am proud of my MOCO brothers. Y’all came a long way in this thing we call hip-hop. If you let DC tell it. Y’all wasn’t suppose to be the force that y’all are because of the “affluent” background and all that. I definitely proud of MOCO though. I am really proud of Logic too. I know his area well where he came from in G-Burg. It use to be nice and shit, but then I started to notice the decline of G-Burg back in the early 2000’s . It didn’t fall too far down, but shit is rough in sections over there.

Anyway, if I am ever on that end I will definitely hit-up those spots and check out the pizza. Y’all came up! MOCO stand-up!

That's why people travel from across the globe just for Chi deep dish. I know you don't get out of the convalescent center much so stick to things you know about like checkers and warm milk old man.

That’s right, I remember that convo now. Nah def not Rosenberg but he’s close to our circle, or was anyways. He’s a good dude, just talks too much sometimes but that’s his job. But yea man, Logic does his thing. Like you said, he catches flames locally for being from the “affluent” rapper, but there’s no denying the kids skills.

Definitely check those spots whenever you get a chance. You’ll enjoy it.

1. New York
2. Chicago
3. Detroit

So New York style pizza clearly ran away with this one as expected. Big ups to all the other pizza styles too though. So many different regions and flavors to try but it always comes back to that classic NY slice.

I’m gonna start working on a more local poll, specifically to NYC as the winner , so go ahead and recommend your fav spots. Try and keep it to spots that are still open and functioning so folks can visit if and when they’re in the city.

Tried pizza from most of the best spots in the country. New Haven style is by far the best. Detroit style 2nd, then NY/Jersey is a toss up for me
New Haven, CT

1. Chicago Pizza
2. Detroit Pizza
3. Real European Pizza, aka Italian
$. Everything else, even NY pizza, is a spin-off of European pizza
New York. New Haven 2nd.

New Haven apizza is the closest you are going to get to real authentic Italian pizza in the US. Brick ovens, lite gravy(sauce), over sized veggies and meat, slight burn on the crust.....
