Rest In Peace! DJ Kay Slay...... Fuck Covid!

I bet he'll get vaccinated now...Shut up. I seen so many vax people catch covid this week its pathetic.
Fuck outta here. We catching it and not ending up in the ICU on a vent like yall
This is what people do not understand. The "vaccine" does not prevent you from getting the disease. It helps your body fight the virus should you contract it.

Today, the Cleveland Clinic shared that 91% of all COVID patients currently on ventilators are unvaccinated.

You can not deny the data.

Lmao I remember that lol.
Is that where your love for tugs developed from?

I bet he'll get vaccinated now...almost dying will change your perspective on this. Hope he gets all the way better. We can't keep losing black folks to this

Where did you see a report of him not being Vaxxed?

All true. But heart disease usually leads to complications that end in one going to the hospital and being placed on medications and maybe having a heart attack years down the road……COVID will kill yo ass in two weeks. Ain’t no medicine. Ain’t no “change your diet.” You got it. You in the hospital. You get on ventilator. You die. No time to say good bye. No time to make a will. No time prepare. Many people who died of Covid may have died of heart disease down the road……but not Right Now. There is a difference.

Correct. So I am vaccinated because i wasnt sure what was going on and didnt want my kinda old ass to chance it. But now I can read the data and if your a healthy human, youll get it, will fuck you up, then your immunity kicks in and you ride it like a flu.

The people getting it and died in two weeks died because they were on there way to death due to diet. Covid sped it up. Thats whats not connecting to alot of you guys.

Healthy diet + covid = you live
Bad diet + covid = outta here

Bad diet is THE main issue.

You nor anyone has said nothing with proof. where is the statement leading to your opinion that you "bet he'll" do?

His homie said he wasn't. I'm busy on my desk so I can't do the work for you bruh. Happy hunting

Below was in the article:

Hip-hop promoter and producer Van Silk had told HipHopDXthat he had been concerned about DJ Kay Slay’s health for some time, and claimed that the artist wasn’t vaccinated against COVID.

I really don't understand that. He around ladies of the night and shit, doing club gigs rebreathing in all that stale unfiltered air, licking stripper buttholes and not wearing a mask unvaccinated? He begging for it!

Vents just help the lung breathe when it can't (heal). If you're on a vent for over a month you're pretty much done. Seen this so many times working at my old job on a pulmonary unit (pre covid)
I had to look this up.

Background
Information is lacking regarding long-term survival and predictive factors for mortality in patients with acute hypoxemic respiratory failure due to coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) and undergoing invasive mechanical ventilation. We aimed to estimate 180-day mortality of patients with COVID-19 requiring invasive ventilation, and to develop a predictive model for long-term mortality.

Methods
Retrospective, multicentre, national cohort study between March 8 and April 30, 2020 in 16 intensive care units (ICU) in Spain. Participants were consecutive adults who received invasive mechanical ventilation for COVID-19. Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) infection detected in positive testing of a nasopharyngeal sample and confirmed by real time reverse-transcriptase polymerase chain reaction (rt-PCR). The primary outcomes was 180-day survival after hospital admission. Secondary outcomes were length of ICU and hospital stay, and ICU and in-hospital mortality. A predictive model was developed to estimate the probability of 180-day mortality.

Results
868 patients were included (median age, 64 years [interquartile range [IQR], 56–71 years]; 72% male). Severity at ICU admission, estimated by SAPS3, was 56 points [IQR 50–63]. Prior to intubation, 26% received some type of noninvasive respiratory support. The unadjusted overall 180-day survival rates was 59% (95% CI 56–62%)

The vaccine does prevent Covid infections. Y’all look at everything through a small Lens. The number of break through cases are small compared to the number of people that are fully vaccinated.

over 200 million are vaccinated in the us and if you had 10 million breakthrough cases, that is not a lot

This is 1000% false. That is like saying only fat people die of heart disease. Everyone on a ventilator or died of Covid are not some sloppy fat people.

It didn’t prevent my infection but I’m also not having any issues with it either. I’m not even aching today like I was yesterday. I still say getting the vaccine was the right move for me. My brother in law got it two weeks ago plus and he’s still feeling weak but he’s a cancer survivor, he still came through it good. Had high fevers but he’s back at work now. I’m going to workout in the morning I feel so good.

I literally quoted the same thing. HIs mans said he was on him about getting vax. To me that ig post from a friend isnt a official statement. But if thats what we running with then cool.

Its pretty easy to go back in time and see for a year and a half they said people dying en mass had "pre-conditions" or were "elderly" 10000% fact. Lung/Breathing issues hit the hardest. You were here for all that right? That was on the news every day. Guess who has compromised lung function..... Obesity. And here is your list of the other ones, most deal with Elderly issues but yeah Chronic liver disease is there too for anyone getting fucked up weekly https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/201...s/people-with-medical-conditions.html#obesity

There are 19 things on this list btw. Obesity is one of them. Now look at this. Since yall not going to read:

  • More than 900,000 adult COVID-19 hospitalizations occurred in the United States between the beginning of the pandemic and November 18, 2020. Models estimate that 271,800 (30.2%) of these hospitalizations were attributed to obesity.6

Nigga! there are 19 things on that list killing covid people. That means Obesity should be about 5% of deaths. Its almost 1/3 tho.

So since no one else is typing facts, heres CDC Full page on Obesity https://www.cdc.gov/obesity/data/obesity-and-covid-19.html

yall miss me with that arguing against obesity like it is not the most serious problem in the black community. Theres too much data to show, take covid away, and this shit is still the number one killer of Black Americans. Add covid and fuck

It seems you don’t understand correlation vs facts. All correlation is stating is that if a person was obese they needed hospitalization at a higher rate than someone who was not. But you have to understand that is based off a percentage of an extremely large number.

There has been over 5 million deaths worldwide from Covid and many were healthy individuals with no history of medical problems. This is why pandemics kill so many. People take data and misinterpreted it.

Millions of people have died and was completely healthy

Fuck outta here. We catching it and not ending up in the ICU on a vent like yall
There is a good reason why they never post actual statistics and numbers because it makes them look dumb as fuck.

“Breakthrough” COVID-19 Hospitalizations Among Fully Vaccinated Patients Occur Most Often among Older Adults and Involve People with Chronic Health Conditions

“Breakthrough” hospitalizations involving COVID-19 among people who are fully vaccinated against the disease most often affected older adults and people with other chronic health conditions, finds a new analysis of hospital data from June through September by KFF and Epic Research.

More than two-thirds (69%) of breakthrough COVID-19 hospitalizations occurred among people ages 65 and older, who are more likely than younger age groups to have gotten vaccinated. A fifth (21%) of breakthrough hospitalizations occurred among people ages 50-64, while 10% occurred among younger adults.

COVID-19 hospitalizations among people who were not fully vaccinated skew much younger, with about 3 in 10 (30%) involving patients ages 50-64 and 4 in 10 (41%) involving patients under age 50.

The analysis examines data from June to September from Epic’s Cosmos research platform, which includes data for more than 120,000 hospitalizations with a COVID diagnosis during the four-month period. Patients are considered “fully vaccinated” if they received a dose of Johnson & Johnson vaccine or two doses of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine at least two weeks before they were hospitalized, regardless of whether they were eligible for or received a booster shot.

Compared to those who are unvaccinated, a small share (15%) of hospital admissions for COVID-19 during the four-month period involve people who were fully vaccinated against the disease.

Other findings include:

  • Larger shares of fully vaccinated adults hospitalized with breakthrough COVID-19 had selected chronic conditions including, hypertension, diabetes, heart failure, or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease) compared to those hospitalized with COVID-19 who were not fully vaccinated.
  • Fully vaccinated people who are hospitalized with breakthrough COVID-19 are less likely than those who are not fully vaccinated to have COVID-related complications such as viral pneumonia or respiratory failure, or to receive a ventilator or dexamethasone treatment. This suggests that fully vaccinated patients with COVID-19 diagnoses may be somewhat more likely to be in the hospital primarily for reasons other than COVID-19.
  • Fully vaccinated people with breakthrough infections had shorter hospital stays compared to others in their age group who were not fully vaccinated. For example, among those at least 65 years old with COVID-19, the median stay was 5.6 days for those who were fully vaccinated compared to 6.7 days for those who were unvaccinated or partly vaccinated.

Interesting study but...
1) The study was done in Spain and not in the USA during the height to the pandemic where there was a ventilator shortage. Nobody staying on that long during a shortage, there was a time at various hospitals (my old job included) they refrained from resuscitation to prevent virus spread. Can't compare this to the USA

2) Spain has a low obesity and diabetic rate than the USA. I took a healthcare prerequisite recently and we learned this. Countries habits and lifestyle factor into how healthy people are and how they deal wit sickness. Environmental factors plays a role also.

Found this chart in the same article and that same qoute

"The main outcome was mortality at 180 days."

Trust me, you don't want to be on a vent for a long time. Not suppose to be, if your lungs can't recover soon it's game over.

Can you provide evidence for the statement highlighted please?

I have yet to see any facts on "many healthy people" dying from Covid.
