{~~~Guns, Guns and Mo' Guns - The Right To Keep And Bear Arms~~~}

Just got a Holosun 407K green dot for my Shield Plus. Off the rip it feels like my eyes find the dot faster than they did with red dots. Gonna take it to the range as soon as the loctite cures to zero it. If all goes as expected then me going for a 507C ACSS Vulcan in green dot to replace the red dot on my PDP will definitely be my next move

I'm running a couple of 507k (P365, Hellcat, and 43x). I like the option of using the circle, or dot, or circle/dot combo. Have you looked at the 509t, for your PDP? The enclosed emitter design, is a nice option especially if you run your guns hard and/or in inclemate conditions.

I have a 507K on my G48. I'm trading my P365 for a custom workbench and cerakoting on my 224V rifle. The Shield Plus is replacing it. As for the 509t, I thought bout it but can't get over it looking like a toaster oven. Ironically I have the 512 on my FX-9 PCC and call it a tactical mailbox. I'm considering getting a PDP compact. If I do, I'll consider the 509t but really like the ACSS reticle on the 507 that makes it even easier to find your dot

Copy that...
Speaking of RDS and toasters, I will be picking up an ACRO P2, if they ever drop. In addition, I'm currently looking for a G17 slide for a build that has been off and on for a couple of years. It went from a dedicated .22lr, until I copped my G44. A P320 build, a PSA Dagger frame build, and slide milling for a couple of pistols. That should keep me busy for a while. Still holding out for the Aero EPC 10mm and the M&P M2.0 10mm.

I still have to finish my P80 build but it's not a rush. Just need to find a nice slide that's RMR cut that catches my eye. I'm just bout done waiting on Aero Precision to drop that EPC but that M&P M2.0 10mm is on my list

Whats the word on P365?

It's cool. Definitely better than the Hellcat & most of the other micro 9 pistols. I replaced mine with the Smith and Wesson Shield Plus as the S&W feels much better in hand & has a better trigger to me. The frame for the Sig isn't as wide (not to be confused with grip thickness) so bigger hands will have more issue holding it. If the Shield Plus was around when I was moving on from the Hellcat, I would've picked it instead of the P365

Everybody going with sub & micro 9's. I've never been a fan of 9x19.

.40 & .45 compact & subcompact for me. I do have a G26 I bought for an Ex and didnt give it to her, never shot it.

I guess its better than nothin

Not sure I follow
Thickness is in regards to how much it fills your hand. A double-stack pistol will have a thicker grip than a slimmer single stack pistol. The width is for how much space is taken from the back of the grip to the front. The P365 has a slimmer grip so it may feel like there's more empty space when you hold it. The Shield Plus grip is wider so it will feel like you can get a better hold of it. This will be more noticeable for ppl with bigger hands.

.40 is a dying caliber. Once the feds & LE went back to using 9mm, it was a wrap for 40S&W. Plus 10mm is gaining in popularity as well.

Have you tried the Shield Plus yet? If so what do you think of it?
No Sir. I have an OG Shield, that I just couldn't get past the slimness of the grip. I have been reading and hearing good things about the plus. Some dudes are saying it's the best micro out there. How do you like yours? I will probably go fingerbang one, this weekend. :dunno:
