Julien Alfred WINS GOLD IN THE WOMEN'S 100M Gabby Thomas Sha'Carri Richardson , Shericka Jackson, Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce

can someone with some basic black adult sense tell me , what exactly did Allyson say wrong ?
Allyson must be an immigrant

Sha'carri needs a lesson in humility, she lost a race and came in 9th and walked off the field without congratulating the other contestants which was fine. Then immediately doing that interview that was all about me, me, me, shit, flitter flarn filth. Then she throws the shot @ Allyson for her comments yet her body language after the race was not like the competitors below. Sha'carri is young and competing with these grown women who have been at this for years, they probably had her beat psychologically before the race even started. She needs a better team around her, it's now about what Nike is paying her and meme culture.

Yall keep saying people are checking for these other runners but I don't see it. Nobody is talking about them outside of Sha'Carri. They're pretty irrelevant, especially with no Americans running today. No Americans are even going in their threads. :smh:
She will be the talk of track and field the next 10 years. Fraser Pryce is 34, Elaine Thompson Herah is 29 and not even that popular amongst her own community, who else we gonna be talkin bout in 2024 and 2028? She definitely needs to win (which she will) but there's a reason Nike is going with her over them. Age has a lot to do with it.

LMAO..the talk of track and field the next 10 years? You putting a lot of faith in this broad. Maybe she turns it around and changes the narrative. She's looking more Johnny Manziel than Pat Mahomes to me at this point. A bunch of talk and hype and hasn't done shit. I put more money on her being on a reality tv show than accomplishing anything in track at this point.

They don't have the power to make their runners pop. Same 4-5 dumbasses rambling in this thread can't make us care about them at all. Not even Nike can promote them.

Talking about Sha'Carri losing >>> caring about any other runners wins

Elaine and Shelly have to hold this L. :giggle:

As far as this thread goes, it stopped being about the race a long time ago. It's now about exposing ignorance and bigotry from a select few morons.

The race was a week ago. You guys wanting to talk about still is understandable because the biggest star in the sport participated. No one on this board saw yesterday's race live nor are they hyped about one next week. It's already forgotten. The star wasn't there. And at this point with the times they've already clocked breaking Flo Jo's record would do more bad than good. Not like they really have a shot anyway. So no point in watching the other runners. Talking Sha'Carri is all there is in track and field til the 2024 Olympics. :dunno:

This thread is about Sha'Carri and the fact Black American athletes are the only ones folks care about on BGOL even people that ain't Black American. Sha'Carri has a bright future.

idgaf about what white people think.

i do care about how my ethnic image is presented in the world at large.

The world at large includes white folk who you say use that "vocal minority" to their advantage.
Once again you yourself stated that too many black people look for a hood heros. So you are promoting that a majority of black people (not a vocal minority) are hood, ignorant, etc.... The same exact image that you claim the "govt zaddy sponsors the bullshit and mainstream media supports and promotes the bullshit."

The days of black people having to try an be perfect people to everybody else is over. I guess you didn’t get the memo.

He's not Black American. Nobody in this thread dissing Sha'Carri is. That's why it don't even matter. It's just negative energy but it has no effect.

They can't make us care about other runners I have no clue why we should care about what they think about Sha'Carri? :dunno:

This the second time you have used this false equivalency. I was going to leave it alone.. But... Try these out and tell me if they fit..

Too many black people look for athletes as heros.. So you are promoting that the majority (not a vocal minority) of black people are athletes, work out and are healthy etc

Or

Too many black people look to people with masters and Phds as heros..

So you are promoting that the majority (not a vocal minority) of black people are educated with advanced degrees, study hard etc

Make sense? No?

You Been reaching in this thread and the only thing you managed to grab so far is King Taneishas dick.

Cheers! Here's to 15 more pages of arguments

Funny how you keep trying to get my attention even when I'm not even replying to you. So of course being the fruity biatch that you are would talk about reaching for dicks.

So let's make this make sense:

too many

: a great many : a lot

a great many
A very large number of (people, things, etc.).

a lot
:
a large number or amount of (things, people, etc.)

Large

1a: exceeding most other things of like kind especially in quantity or size : BIG

None of these words above equal a minority, which is what the poster switched to. Also he didn’t say looks for athletes, people with PHs, etc.... He said Hood heros.

I'll let you have the last word, go...

Very kind of you to offer the last word. While I am happy you were able to define the above words for yourself, this, unfortunately, did nothing to support your argument which I quoted. I also do note the use of bold and the increase in font size. You are pretty clever in a special needs kind of way.

Feel free to try again though.

I'm not arguing that T & F is not experiencing a whole new level of interest and excitement. I'm just arguing about who deserves the credit for initiating it. It began with Usain Bolt and the new torch bearers are the Jamaican women. This is just my opinion. Try throwing a track meet minus the Jamaicans and see how much fan and sponsor interest you generate! Tickets for Olympic Track and Field events will be priced from hundreds of dollars to thousands of dollars in Paris. Try unloading those with a Jamaican pullout.
Awaiting the obligatory "Pull Out Game Strong!" Replies.

Over under 3?

Shellt-Ann did her thing, she came out the blocks smokin!

There was only 8 lanes, but if there was a 9th. That’s would’ve been where Sha’Carri would’ve been, and she would’ve came in 9th place.

Now that I think about it, the results were just like if she ran in the race!

200w.gif

Prior to the prefontaine meet..what the fuck was smokey doing??

Track isn't just against other runners it's primarily against the clock. The records are set. Your time is based against the record..how close you came or if you broke it..and oh yeah the other runners too.

At the Prefontaine Classic, Thompson-Herah crossed the finish line with a personal-best time of 10.54 seconds. Fraser-Pryce, who held the second-fastest time in the event prior to Tokyo, crossed the finish line in 10.73 seconds and Jackson came in behind her with a time of 10.76 seconds.

In order to be competitive in the HERE AND NOW....smokeys gotta do at least 10.75..AT LEAST.

That means in PRACTICE she's GOT to be cracking under 11 seconds consistently...if not WTF is she gonna do come game time??

ETH and SAFP aint fucking around and they set the bar HIGH...

Smokeys PERSONAL BEST time was at the trials and it was 10.64 (negated since the weed ban)....10.64 would have gotten her SILVER at the Olympics..at the Prefontaine meet in Oregon and in Lausanne, Switzerland on Thursday.

SAFP ran a 10.60 and Elaine Thompson also ran 10.64 in Lausanne...which means she would have been tied for silver with a Jamaican.

THIS IS ON THE TRACK. THIS AIN'T ABOUT ENDORSEMENTS OR WHOS GOT THE MOST FOLLOWERS ON SOCIAL MEDIA.

chances are even at 100%...RIGHT NOW..she wouldn't have gotten gold at NONE of the last 3 events including the Olympics.

Smokey is playing with fire and she needs to tighten up her shit up QUICK. :smh: :smh: :smh:

She definitely needs to tighten up!

Like you said, it’s about the clock and not about who’s running. With that said, Smokey’s team has timers and stopwatches…

They knew Damn well that she should’ve been out there running against people or a clock!

“Smokey” :roflmao:

 Wait. I must have missed it in this thread. Why you clowning her and calling her smokey? Did she fall out of favor on BGOL for something political or some shit.
We call her smokey because of the weed scandal and she got SMOKED at the prefontaine classic...

She literally earned the nickname :giggle:

She got DUSTED too at that race but Dusty sounds too mean spirited:giggle:

cmon bruh..

Its not that serious..

I know who I am and I know who my global family is..

Historically we always fucking beefed with each other..

National Pride is who we are...

we are a people of over 500 nations...from

Canada to the top of Chile..

National Pride is what we always DID!!

America is OUR nation...

we are all so mindfucked only few realize this...

do you know Jamaica is in AMERICA??

and AMERICA IS A CONTINENT

not a country??

cacs divided us up put himself

in the mix

so he could have something to cheer for too..

Yes sir, you got that right!! Those pilgrims/euro rejects knew the minute they say us, we were ahead of them on every level!! #1 of the reasons they kept us outta every thing they had to compete with us.. From politics, schooling, sports, banking and so on!! It was one of the reason during the 1950's when this corporation/country allowed these rejects to make all the money and kept our ancestors outta the mix.. They knew we wouldve taken over on every level in this corporation!!

Anyway, your right!! It is our country and they are doing every in their power to keep us from snapping outta the dream/trance and wanting all our shit back!!

This thread is about Shacarri race quitting, weed smoking and not being able to live up to the hype and being the biggest show boating loser.

little short bitch is all hype and will never win a gold medal.

Numbers don’t lie.

:giggle: :itsawrap:
Here's the other thing, there are runners who are now running in college who will be coming after her from '22-24. She may not even be in the discussion when we get to Paris

The problem they have is they don't know how to market Shelly and Elaine to Black America. Just tearing down Sha'Carri doesn't move product or make money. It might rile up the same few trolls on BGOL but it doesn't endear their runners to bigger markets. It actually hurts them in that regard. They aren't noticeable outside of Sha'Carri. A 30 year old and 34 year old can only clout chase younger women so long til they just old. :dunno:

If Nike promoted them and gave them their own shoe, how successful could it be @geechiedan if nobody in Black America buys it?
Depends on the promotion I guess..but this is what makes the premise so stupid. Non-american anything have a hard time getting traction in the US. Jamaican americans should realize it and stop playing into it. but to quote you again

I'm lost, what does this have to do with Sha'Carri Richardson and track and field?

who is winning gold and setting records???

Elaine Thompson-Herah, the multiple Olympic champion, leads a strong field which includes Britain’s world 200m champion Dina Asher-Smith, although Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce has withdrawn following her big 10.60 win in Lausanne on Thursday.

Thompson-Herah is in superb form following her 10.54 victory at the Prefontaine Classic in Oregon last weekend. However she was defeated by Fraser-Pryce in Lausanne and has complained of end-of-season fatigue.

Also in the 100m line-up in Paris is Shericka Jackson, who was third in the Olympics, Oregon and Lausanne behind fellow Jamaicans Thompson-Herah and Fraser-Pryce.

After her Lausanne defeat Thompson-Herah will be looking to get back to winning ways at the Stade Charlety. Mondo Duplantis is in a similar position after finishing only fourth in Lausanne.

The Olympic champion and world record-holder faces the Lausanne winner, Chris Nilsen, in Paris, plus two-time world champion Sam Kendricks and British record-holder Harry Coppell.

Shelly & Elaine right now are associated with people who trash Sha'Carri and make fun of Flo Jo. How successful can they be if Black America doesnt support them? Meaning buys none of their products, watches none of their meets, don't plug them in any music or pop culture things a la Bolt, will we still be talking about them say? 6 years from now? Other sprinters will emerge and records are broken all the time. :dunno: This is the dilemma Nike and all major US corporations face with them.

Bolt was huge in the states. Appeared on Saturday Night Live, plugged by rappers, commercials, red carpets. But his brand isn't associated with a group of people tearing down an American. Shelly & Elaine's is. That hurts them long term.

Dude that's in your head..I don't see SAFP or ETH doing anything but running races and winning. What smokeys SUPPOSED to be doing. I DO know theres a large contingent of jamaican americans in the states who would like to see those two elevated in the same way Bolt was...but that speaks more to gender bias than any perceived "insults"

If you accept trash talking from her then accept it from them...
If Bolt got a push from nike in the states because he was setting records and cocky with it... then why not give them the same push since theyre doing the same thing and their endorsers as well
If Nike or black america is showing a bias against ETH and SAFP it has nothing to do with attitude.

That picture is proof to never believe in angles, because 9th place never looked so close! :roflmao:
call it was it was...LAST PLACE...and while technically she was just a fraction of a second behind.;..when youre in LAST PLACE that fraction of a second don't matter.. a 300 pound asthmatic diabetic could come in LAST PLACE. She could have eaten a platter of cheesy tacos and had 3 banana splits for dessert the night before and come in LAST PLACE...

thats why I always felt bad for people who came in last at the Olympics because they worked hard and denied themselves for months just to place about as well as my outta shape ass could have placed..:lol:
