Manny Pacquiao has confirmed that he's retired from boxing at the age of 42

Damn Spence, it might just be time to hang it up.
Never saw Ugas fight but stepping in wit Manny with just a week notice is fucked up

Dude sounds like a damn fool, once they caught it there was no way they were letting him fight. Also Spence would have been a fool to fight with a torn retina if they let him & for what to show how tough he is & end up blind.
Meanwhile Pac lost to Mayweather because of a "torn rotator cuff" and Loma lost to Teo because of a "shoulder injury".
So do you keep quiet about an injury before or after a fight?

I don't know if was a thing of him keeping quiet because the commission has doctors check the fighters. With a shoulder injury or stuff like you can gut through the basic bs test the give you, but with your eye's once they shine those lights in there's nothing you can do they'll see the retinal damage.

It was a rethorical question because if Spence had fought and lost to Pac. Then afterwards say he has a retina tear the racist dumbasses would be out in full force saying he's making excuses.

He hasn’t been training for Pac. He has an unusual style an box lefty so I doubt the guy he was going to fight was comparable.
The point is he isn't coming from being in his rob and sleepers on the couch to preparing to fight Pac. He's in shape and ready to fight.

Has Ugas been keeping his same form since the Porter fight? I have a fuzzy memory of him falling off slightly but that could be completely wrong. The Ugas who controversially lost to Porter is better than the version of Thurmam that Pacquiao beat.

Not only that.

It's going to be a lot easier for Ugas to mentally get up for this fight than it will be for Pacquiao who's now fighting a relative unknown with no real upside for him even if he wins convincingly.
