Not trying to racial stereotype..... but I don't want anyone whose name that isn't Fong/Wang etc making Chinese food for me..... same thing with Pizza..... don't really want to see an Indian making my Pizza (downtown Newark) .... the quality tends to go to hell rather quickly..... I have only one Chinese restaurant that I deal with.... and I can personally speak for their cleanliness.... from them having and open view of what they're doing.... to actually have done a building inspection there when my shift at the FD was doing building inspections .... and I only fux with one Pizzaria/Italian spot that I deal with.... Dickie Dee's in Newark

What funny is I am slightly that way (tend to stick with food made by certain ethnic groups that the food is associated with) but you have people who are totally that way but will eat soulfood from non black people.:confused::smh:

I've seen a few restaurants that are Asian-run that make "soul food"...including chitlins.

If they can do it, then why can't we make "Chinese food"?

Hell, the food in the great majority of Chinese restaurants isn't even "real Chinese food". What they make here is not what they make over there.

Hell Habib and them got fried chicken, soul food, gyros and Chinese food too......so why not us?

With respect, your statement is kinda bigoted. Europeans defined modern medicine, so does that mean you only feel comfortable with caucasian doctors? They also lead modern physics, electronics, and chemistry, so their engineers are the only ones you trust, right? Can black people sell you french or italian food? Of course you're entitled to your opinion, but my people are capable of cooking in all these styles. Have you tried korean fried chicken, or would you have a problem with that?

You'd be surprised who some of the chinese folks have in the kitchen doing the cooking..lol There were a couple on DC that had latino's in the kitchen, I remember talking to the owners & they said once trained they cooked as good if not better than the chinese folks they had cooking..lol
