To me he's a white James Harden. Does anyone knock James Harden for all them playoff exits he got? We already know what it is with Luka. Black people not gonna rock with him because of the hype and cac's gonna overhype him because he's a cac and he's essentially all they have and probably all they ever will have for some time.
But the thing Luka has going for him is that the hype is not just with the fans. The players build up the hype too. Lebron, Kawhi, Paul George....they all said he's one of the best. Kobe seen the shit too.
I think that's a perfect fit. That's the team he needs. He don;'t want these diva muthafuckas he gotta cater too. Even with Dirk he didn't have to worry about shit. Its why he took the job. He doesn't want to deal with Harden and Kyrie....Bucks is a team I could've saw but I just don't think the Bucks are interested in firing their coach.
Naw privilege is being Steve Nash and never having to coach in his life and walking into that Nets job. Carlisle at least got a ring......you a cac and got a ring shit you damn near get any job you want.

Dude’s legit, I don’t listen to the overhyping of him. I watch him play and can see that he’s good.
Oh and he’s white so many don’t like him or want to give him his credit.
Bottom line, he’s as good as advertised and lived up to the hype.
And yes he needs to get in shape and the Mavs need to run a better offense.

Connections got Steve the job. He’s cool with the GM and had a relationship with KD from him being on the Warriors.
Not to mention he’s a HOF PG so his basketball mind was also key for the hire.
The difference is Harden disappeared in big games, Luka’s there but the team ends up not being good enough.

Yeah I agree with all the above. He a 3 year pro and dudes expected him to have a ring already.....team is shitty but they grading him on a scale that shit nobody has ever lived up to. He's suppose to still be developing at this point.....
Luka is raw. Trae has to be put above him in "some" way now though because of the fact that he's actually doing it on a deeper playoff run. Not that Luka can't do it, but he hasn't done it "yet". 48, 11, and 7 counts more in a conference finals than first-round series stats. The stakes are higher. Trae proved he can be your #1 player... shit, he's shown that in a way that some perennial all-star players haven't. Hawks aren't a team of superstars (well-balanced team) so if he doesn't come out and around 40 (give or take 5), they're going to lose from this point out besides the occasional breakout game by a role player like Huerter.
