This shit is true... Everyone I speak to about this: I remember during the Holidays (between late Nov 2019 - Jan 2020) almost everyone on my floor at work had at least some kind of mild cold that they couldn't seem to totally get rid of.

I rarely ever get sick-sick, but I remember around that time my body was fighting off something for the longest and in mid-Jan 2020 I finally went to urgent care in the middle of the workday because my glands/throat had been swollen for like a week and a half.

The Rona was def kickin ass in NYC way ahead of the lockdown.
