NBA Season is Returning This Year!!!!!!!

That article talks about KD being double teamed for ONE GAME; it even said how Steph has been facing those double teams for years, the Cavs chose to double team Steph instead of KD and how people were always talking about KD never being double teamed. In that one game the Pelicans tried something different and it didn’t work. Anybody that watched those Warriors games knows KD wasn’t being double teamed because like I said if you let Steph or Klay get going from three the game was over
He wasn't just getting doubled in one game though lol....you said he didn't get double teamed I just posted that link but they didn't just do it one game lol. Y'all think when Steph wasn't on the floor and when Durant was on the floor with guys like Looney and Draymon they wasn't doubling him?

Malone was putting up 20 and 8 boards a game when he got there...he wasn't prime Malone but he was far better than them Horace Grant niggas the Lakers was winning rings with.
GP was putting up 20 a game....

Y'all having revisionist history when Malone and GP went to the Lakers people had them winning. Y'all speaking in hindsight....

Only thing missing the trophy.

Malone played 40 games with the Lakers. He was so washed he couldn't even play half the season and quickly retired.GP was just ring-chasing...could give you 10 points a game and couldn't defend like he used to. They were washed man. They were over the cliff, we just got a chance to see them fall once they hit the Lakers.

Malone was 40 years old when he joined the Lakers. We're comparing 40 year old washed players to a 28 year old Durant in his PRIME?!

Naw. Remember they played my Pistons in the Finals that year. I knew as long as we kept the ball out of Shaq's hands we could beat that squad. GP and Malone were washed and Kobe was focused on shooting Shaq out of town.

Just in the course of the game when you contest you land close
There's a difference between never contesting but suddenly you land under their feet and jumping into the person to try and swat it
So I'd call those dangerous but not dirty

After it just happened to Kyrie and Tucker ramps up his contest, I could see why Nash would consider it more dirty than dangerous

WAIT A MINUTE!!! this is the James Jones they were talking when I kept hearing that name?   I didn’t know he had moved into management, I thought he was probably on the end of the Lakers bench
He went there after he left Miami...

Come on man, now you know what we was talking about:hmm:

Naw what I’m saying is Kobe and Shaq was in their prime and couldn’t make it work with GP and Malone. I bring that up to show that you still gotta do it. You still gotta go out there and be the best player on the court and KD did.

Nuggets should have kept and paid Jerami Grant

They did offer to pay that man. He didn't want to sit there and watch Jamal Murray and Jokic play hot potato all game. Malone didn't realize how much that "2 man game" froze out other players. I understand Jerami's decision.

Plus JErami Grant wasn't worth that money. Not to the Nuggets anyway.

Man everyone is so caught up in the "if you as good as everyone say you are" shit to the point they hoping KD Fail so they can say I told you so.....it is what it is man I blame the media for this shit. All of this ring chasing bullshit...chasing legacies.....the bar use to be just getting a ring it didn't matter how you did it. Pat Ewing and Barkley didn't get one....shit is insane. Getting a ring ain't enough no more now you gotta get you 4 or 5 of them.

His whole career is super team
OKC wasn't a super team?

I wouldn't call it a superteam because they weren't in their prime yet....at that time Harden was playing the 6th man role and nobody thought he'd be a top 5 player in the league. If they came together in 2021 I'd say they for sure are a super team.

They will forever go down as probably the best "what if" team....between Ibaka, Durant, Westbrook and Harden......I don't think a team has ever drafted and compiled 3 MVP candidates in such a short period of time like that.

I honestly can't think of a team.......

The reality is the KD stans have been overrating KD his whole career when they try to make him seem comparable to LeBron. Look at all the excuses flying for this guy today. He was talkin big shit to the Black analysts all year too, he better fuckin win or he bout to get roasted. He will be 34 next season too, not a spring chicken.

Would y'all consider this Bucks team to be as talented as the Championship Raptors squad?

That Raptors bullshit.....I'd probably say its close. At worst you'd say Kawhi and Greek were a wash...Kyle Lowry played some good basketball in that run but I'd probably say he and Jrue are a wash. Middleton and Siakam a wash.....

I guess on second look maybe that Raptors team was better because they played great defense and on offense was 4 players deep. Who's the 4th best player on the Bucks that compares to Van Fleet? I think as a team they are close but personnel wise Raptors got them.

I can see that. I only bring it up because if Steph loss to that team and didn't get viewed any different because of Klay & KD getting hurt, why should KD's rep take a hit when he's in the same predicament?

Man I'm at a loss of words at this KD shit. .Only shit I can chalk it up to is its people with ulterior motives. Most of them are Lebron fans......its crazy because these same people were defending Lebron because his talent around him wasn't as good yet KD not giving the benefit of the doubt.

At the end of the day when you see KD play do you think he lacking? DO you think he Nets lose because of him? If not then what are we questioning here? We not questioning shit its just a tit 4 tat shit that goes on with people who defend Lebron.

If you're just going by the names on the back of the jersey I'd say yes. But Harden wasn't nowhere near what he is today. If he was I'm sure it wouldn't have been a question of who's staying and who's going with him and Serge

Yeah that finals was the deal breaker. Harden just wasn't good while Ibaka excelled. I could see why the Thunder went with Ibaka over Harden only a few months after

Yeah.. shit's corny but it is what it is.

As a Nets fan I hope he could lead us pass the Bucks but if he don't, I would understand. Trading all our depth for Harden made it damn near impossible for us to win without atleast two of the big three being healthy.
