They were a championship team before he even got there, you cant go to a team that had already won and set records for most wins and then think because you’re now the best player you led that team to a championship. They said KD was leaving the Warriors because he never felt it was his team and he wanted to show he could really lead a team to the championship but then put together a Nets team that a was another version of the Warriors team when they added Harden, LaMarcus Aldridge and Blake Griffin.

It don’t matter though. At the end of the day he was the best player on a championship team. You can’t erase his legacy because y’all don’t like how he did it. Nobody holds that shit against Lebron for teaming up with Wade and Bosh or Kyrie and Love or with AD.

I don't know if his Legacy is on the line, but although I'm high on Durant... but he's not THAT guy... or shown he can be it, yet. Being the best player on those NBA titles teams doesn't mean that much to me considering the team won 72 games the year before he got there. He balled out but that was the easiest situation in the world for him..no stress.. can share the load...and then just take over in the 4th because he's well rested... getting man up defense and the lane is wide fucking open because you couldn't cheat and leave the perimeter on the squad.

Even if they lose the series, he gotta ball out. Can be 30, 5, and 5 on 50% shooting. At least go out like Lillard.

Lebron still led those teams though, Wade had won a championship but none of those other guys had won anything. KD’s legacy for being a great player cant be denied but in order for him to be up there with the greatest like they are trying to place him he has to earn that shit. He came up small in that 4th quarter when it was all on him to score, I want Harden to come back so he has a second star like he did when he had Westbrook to see if he can lead the Nets to a championship

Alright but even MJ had Pippen. Y'all saying that Durant need to win with Jeff Green as his best player on the court? A past his prime Blake Griffin? That's a tall task for anyone. And then they gotta beat the Bucks while doing it lol. A clearly superior team.

I just think we gotta be careful devaluing someone because of who they played with. Durant in them championship runs never had it easy. If anything it was Steph who benefited and Klay. KD was on it on both sides of the ball during that run.


I just ain't with devaluing his legacy because he can't beat a Bucks team with Mike James, Claxton, Blake Griffin, Jeff Green and Brown by his side.

Agreed. I wanna see that young man play. Malone reminds me of Doug Collins. He never wanted to develop young players. It's like he had a grudge against them for no reason. He's a piece of shit and I'm proud he'll never coach in the NBA again!! :yes:

I don't expect KD to win a chip with this group, but he needs to win at least one game.

Lebron won two games against the Warriors in 2015 with basically no help, Iverson won a game against a Lakers team in 2001 that swept its way through the West.

This Bucks team is no where near as good as those teams were.

IT was a great trade for Denver. He just didn't fit with them boys and I don't know why.

But shit he may just be the typical he's great on bad teams but when its time to contend he ain't shit. Probably looked better playing on them shitty Magic teams.
