I'm hoping for the best, but right now, we're playing with house money.
The issue is what @Spectrum has been highlighting; its very hard for a team to have 1 star and win; that team better have a top 5 player all time and very very good players and be well coached; thats a lot to ask for and it rarely occurs; Bucks only have 1 star and he aint top 5; but they can win; I just dont like the sign of how Nets easily won with no Harden...
No team has ever won a title with one star. The Bucks don’t even have the defenders to slow down KD or Irving on a regular basis.
I will say this though, the xfactor last night was Blake. It’s a much closer game if he doesn’t play nearly as well. If he plays similar to that every game, then Bucks don’t have a chance.
I don’t hate Middleton or Holiday, but neither are 2nd options.

Seen a CACs on the Nets last night do a nice pump fake at the top of the 3 point line. The defender flys past him. The shooter dribbles in and 22 to 14 feet in front of him is wide open. Instead of just taking the simple jumper. The CAC steps back to where the defender that flew past him was at just so he could shoot the 3 that he obviously missed.
These players today just makes the game so much more difficult than it should be. How many times a game do we see a player drive to the basket and have a clear layup but ends up passing it to a 3 point shooter? I’ll never understand it.
Yeah man I hate watching a lot of the teams now because of how they only wanna shoot 3’s and take the 2 pointer only when there is no other option. It has made me appreciate teams that utilize their low post players and guards like Chris Middleton and Kawhi who look for the drive and midrange jumper over the three
