NBA Season is Returning This Year!!!!!!!

I agree

but then he can't be out here commenting on his fellow players without knowing the specifics on the situation.

Because Dame does NOT want it to be that the FANS decide when its OK for you leave.

Yeah the problem is beyond just the coach in my opinion...Stotts has checked out a few years ago....That GM needs to go!

I think the team I would look at is what James Jones has done in Phoenix....Young, depth, and build around your star player.

But did he comment on specific guys though?

I thought all he said was he not joining no Super team.

We say that......but then you look at their team.....

Nurkic, Lillard, Powell, McCollum, Covington....Melo off the bench...Kanter.......the GM also found and drafted Anfernee Simons and Gary Trent JR with some shitty draft picks.....

I don't think GM is the issue.

Stotts was just doing some questionable shit. To me he was the weak link. How does Nurkic get in foul trouble.....and your answer is Covington or Melo at the 5? And you got Kanter on the bench?

Portland has a lot of players that can score; just not enough players that can make it difficult for the other team; a shakeup is coming though...

Yeah I agree, but what impactful players has he added in the last 3-4 years around Dame??
I agree Stotts maybe more of the issue, but the GM hasn't really added any impactful players in my opinon....All those players are decent but you not winning a chip with those players let along come out the west...

Look at how James Jones came in to Phoenix and turned things around....

Well mind you Chris Paul was available because he was expensive and he was old and he plays point guard.

We know what Dame needs. He needs a Anthony Davis. He needs a Durant.

Dame finds himself in the same position that 90% of the stars in this league find themselves in.
Luka in the same boat as well.

Its a star driven league. But the stars only go where they WANT to go. You can't just go out and get them. So Dame is stuck in that regard.

Giannis in the same boat. They are forced to have to overpay for guys like Jrue Holiday and Middleton and hope they are good enough.

Yeah I don't fault them because they were never going to shut anyone down with Dame and CJ on the perimeter.....they were always going to have to outscore everyone to win so they built a team to try and outscore with. Just wasn't good enough.

Players do behind the scenes all the time. Westbrook & Harden pressed the Rockets owner to hire Silas even though they knew they were both going to bounce. Stephen A still full of shit.
Yeah and that's why i'm laughing at this fake outcry by Stephen A. Its bullshit. He can convince some of these people who's speaking up for the black man but I ain't buying it.

The lack of black head coaches is a issue but is it storm off the site pouting and screaming issue? Nah...but when its something about black issues that come from the hands of cac's he's silent or less loud.....

I know many Melo fans don't want to hear this but he's a big liability defensively too. Blazers let niggas like Austin Rivers go wild. Kind of makes you wonder why they'd trade Trent who was one of their better perimeter defenders and not too bad offensively. They should trade CJ.

Oh for sure. I like Melo's role of just coming off the bench in limited minutes and just putting in work scoring.

Trent jumper was just too inconsistent. Powell is a more expensive better version of him.

Simons is cheap, got potential and young dude.

CJ/Simons package might can get them some help.

AD Lead the lakers in almost all statistical categories and was a dpoy of the year candidate
and the clear reason they won last year
and without him this year they weren't competitive in the playoffs
but yes he is not the best player on the lakers
man I hope he can stay healthy..all last year and this season..I got nervous watching him limp around and walk it off after some plays..he looks like he can get injured at any moment sometimes...

You pretty much need two prime stars to win an NBA title. There are exceptions but that's pretty much the minimum.
