Jokic probably just sowed up the MVP award last night while we were sleeping. I don't care nor do I want him to win it. Jokic is great in so may ways but the fact that he's a statue on defense irritates me. But Jokic will win it because he represents the league now. You don't have to be shit on defense as long as you can do everything else for your team. I hate that part of the game. I feel only "two-way" players should be candidates for the award.

Offense is always valued more because its harder to do. Lack of Defense can be easier to compensate for. A team can cover up for a player that is average or below on Defense. A player that can't score cant create Offense cant initiate Offense cant shoot; well that's harder to cover. Ask Giannis
