I don't think that's strong enough to set off a primer. Not to mention that the barrel of the pen would've exploded as there is no rifling in the barrel either. Nice concept though.
The video ended before we could see if the shooter reacted to the heat as well, I might add. If it was real, he'd have dropped it immediately from the searing heat.

22's are rim fire bullets. Doesn't take much to set them off. Take a 22, put it in a straw, throw it in the air and let it land on the concrete.
