I'm going to have to start listening to the soundtrack more during the episodes.Damn.
Henry Jackman's Music score and cues are so on point.
Thank you! I took note of that too.Love how they cast an average looking dark skin sista as Sam's sister.
Marvel is really tackling some hard issues and not taking the easy way out.
That conversation with Isiah and Sam was powerful as shit.
So much respect for the writers of this show.
Malcolm the writer is a black guy so you should expect this kind of dialogue. The brother is on top of his game.Love how they cast an average looking dark skin sista as Sam's sister.

That series is so dope!!!Highly recommend reading the Truth series to get the full picture of what Isiah went thru.
My 13 year old was the same way...
She started watching the first episode and didn't watch any more. I ended up finishing most of the series without her... she saw pieces of the last episode and was HOOKED. Then she started asking questions about what was going on and I told her "you gave up on it too soon... at least watch the first 4 episodes... if you don't like it after that then I'll answer every question you have..."
She binge watched that entire series that day. I filled in a few blanks for her, as far as the TV shows being spoofed (I love Lucy, Malcolm in the middle, family ties, full house, etc) and it made sense to her, the beginnings of the show
Zola Williams
Loved the conversation with the black super soldier, the symbolism of Sam wiping the blood off of the shield, etc. They really aren't holding back.
Sam looked at Bucky like "Hold on man!" when he was flirting with his sister.
Roid rage cap lying to battlestar's family.
I was hoping they'd show what was in the box, but since it's probably his new outfit we'll have to wait until next week to see it.
Damn.

Sam was like "nah bruh" when he saw Bucky flirting with Sarah lol.
That convo with Isaiah was soooooo dope. You could literally see the pain coming from his face.
That hearing with Great Value Cap was pure white boy smugness with how he just walked out while they were still talking.
Can't wait to see Sam suit up in his new gear next week!!!
I think that’s to draw in a certain community into talking about the show online.

I'm listening to Dr. Greg Carr right now. Carl Lumbly is Paul Robeson's grandson.I thought the same about that convo. Also when Bucky said he didn't realize how giving the shield to a Black man would be received. Carl Lumbly is doing a fucking spectacular job as Isiah. When he's in any scene he is riveting. Like a blinding light and the other actors are shadows.
I was disappointed that they handled Isiah's points so casually. They made the same mistake that has this country about to tear itself apart. Mainly that slavery and racism have been "dealt with" by legislation.
I would have liked them to dig a little deeper and acknowledge the situation by giving Bucky the shield but I guess their plan was always to have Sam take it.
We'll see if they continue to address racial issues because you know damn well there's going to be plenty.

This is an excellent episode and he discusses FATWS.
Remember Falcon said he comes from a open and forgiving community plus he's a councilor. That will be a challenge.Zemo and Bucky are right, Falcon needs to stop being so damn soft and get after Karli for real.
