NBA Season is Returning This Year!!!!!!!

Retired NBA player Glen 'Big Baby' Davis kicks off world's dumbest feud with Warriors Klay Thompson

A war of words over a Detroit Pistons bench warmer continues anew.

I'll catch you up quickly and then get to the latest developments: On Saturday, after the Golden State Warriors beat the Pistons, Detroit guard Rodney McGruder had some pointed comments for the Dubs bench. We have since learned from Detroit role player Wayne Ellington that McGruder was defending his teammate, whom he felt was on the receiving end of Juan Toscano-Anderson's disrespectful trash talk earlier in the game.

Thompson, who's out for the year with a torn Achilles, was in attendance and doing announcing duties on NBC Sports when McGruder said whatever he said to the opposing team. "This dude might be out the league soon," Thompson replied. "He's probably mad about that, who knows? Over here, trying to start something like he's a good player or something." During the postgame press conference, Draymond Green issued similarly harsh critiques.

On Monday night, Thompson noticed an Instagram comment left by Glen "Big Baby" Davis, a retired NBA player best known for crying during a game who now faces off against YouTube hoopers in one-on-one bouts.

Even if you think Thompson was maybe being a tad too mean to McGruder, Davis's note is way worse. Pulling the "karma" card when someone gets seriously injured is a low-blow! Thompson's rebuttal to Davis is overly generous, if anything; Big Baby hasn't played in the league since 2015, so I don't see a scenario in which Thompson has an opportunity to drop 40 on him.

Davis, perhaps realizing he cannot win this fight, issued a prideful-but-ultimately-deferential response on his IG stories. "You right about giving me 40," he said, "but you can't check me either. BBQ chicken on the block!!! I bet my life on that."

That 08 team would murder the fucking warriors.

klay stop

I watch all the Nets games on league pass. I like Kyrie but he is just frustrating many times because of his lack of awareness. There is no need with this team to go one against 4.

It seems he doesn’t understand the concept of percentages. Kyrie shoots a great percentage which is mostly 56% but he could get other players 80% buckets.

Then he ignores KD for long stretches. Last night Harden and KD slick took the ball out his hands. An elite scorer but tends to hijack the offense is really is only problem on the court.

He does tend to get tunnel vision at times but I'm sure this is something that is encouraged by staff and players alike to go get his because the reality is Kyrie is just an undersized two.

If he was 6'5, the whole chucking angle wouldn't be as loud..

I like that he is committed on the defensive end. I have never seen him defend like he has this year

@largebillsonlyplease till for y’all to move on from Oubre dude ain’t it.. his IQ is babbage

I have plenty of thoughts on Kerr when it comes to this situation.
Oubre has been really bad but also he's been better with the 2nd unit scoring and everything else.
Put him there but that's too much like right for Kerr and his random coaching habits
He's a really good defender. Really good. He just needs to be used to slash to the rim instead of spotting up but again that's the philosophy

Yeah Kerr completely blew a winnable game against the Celtics yesterday.. he left the 2nd unit in and let the Celtics come back smh.. Kerr is a stubborn asshole

but as for Oubre I don’t think he wants to buy in to being the athletic defensive specialist.. That would open up his offense but he thinks he’s a go 2 guy ans he’s not

I mean I can tell y'all then wait for y'all to see it later lol.
It's the same habits and things I railed against but he got away with due to the talent.
Now he needs to coach just a little bit more and do a little more adjustments it's not even difficult.
Every time Curry dominates the ball and doesn't defer to dudes he puts up lines like last night
38 - 11 - 8 as a 6'3 guard

Tossing assists to Kelly Oubre
just a little coaching help is a w that's about 4 games now where that's the difference.

It ain't rocket science
Facts... Curry need to be the MVP of the warriors make the playoffs.. Kerr still running the offense like he got Klay, iggy, Sdot and KD out there lol

Is it Curry deferring or Kerr instructing?

That's the difference between a four seed and being out of the playoffs right now. More importantly, that's a fifth of the total season so far!

And somebody told him to stop chucking

Both.
Steph wants to be a good teammate. It's no different than any of the super stars who try to get everyone else involved.

Kerr should say don't be a good teammate we are better when you're hunting for shots.

Curry outscored the other 4 starters combined and had the warriors in a game they really had no business being in
just let him COOK and don't let the 2nd unit squander a double digit lead without calling a single timeout lol

He needs to be in the pick n roll and let him slash to the bucket. I would make him the primary ball handler

He may be better off as the primary ball handler and get Westbrook like production out of him
