Is this the thread to talk about Robinhood all of a sudden shaving cents off of my shares?

Before the WSB wars if I bought a stock I would always be given an accurate price and when I sold it I would get an accurate price. After the bloodshed when I purchase a stock I’m losing .02 cents and when I’m selling I’m losing .02 cents. What the heck is going on?

Commission, You didn't see the $65M lawsuit they settled this year.
There is a price for free commission.

Are you using limits?

When you play with big money, a 3% increase is some people yearly salary.

Yup! I look at some of these plays yall are making and the bump looks small... so I know the dudes that are caking off must be moving a grip at a time where those small increases make a bigger difference.

I'm still in the wealth accumulation stage so I have to move a little different for sure. But I have a few plans :hellyea:

The stock market is always growing. Rome wasn’t built in a day. You would be surprise how much movement you can make with a nickel gain and dime gain here and there. You just have to own the right amount of shares. Earlier this week I put $20000 behind a .30 share gain. This morning I had 33000 behind a $1.20 gain.

Maybe I won’t eat cat food tonight.

Some people are happy to make $1000 a month in trading and others are making $10000 a day.

I def feel you. I'm doing ok rn with my trading account. I started out with 2G's earlier this year, looked up the other day and I'm at $6,500. Hitting singles and doubles with some losses along the way. But I'm not adding money, just rolling the profits over into future plays. Went through the trying to do too many plays at once phase, the options phase, now back at the swing phase. But its good to have the experience in the arsenal.

I've learned that I like to do the research and find companies in my circle of competence. So my natural inclination is to long term investing, but I can also use that skilll to build up a lot of shares of lesser known companies even on my budget. So I'm def about trying to load the boat on 2 or 3 plays and patiently wait a few weeks/months at this point.

Trying to figure out stop and limit price without selling all my shares
Paper trading is your friend.

I accidently sold my shares once trying to add a trailing stop to my existing position.

What platform you using?

up 300%...that's huge bro. much props

at your level with a 7 figure portfolio with that kinda volatility, do you get phased at all on the days when u look and see 6 figures red?
You can't, you would go crazy. When I see green like this I'm happy buy on red days, I know that's part of the game. As long as you're in good projects the trajectory will always be up in the long term

I don’t trust Robinhood with my stops. At all. It’s why I always have my phone open. I wanted to buy Ford at the end of December when I saw someone driving the Bronco around the city. I put my orders in saw the numbers get right but it 6 minutes went by and nothing showed up in the app. I canceled the order and just ordered it straight up.

damn homie.........lemme borrow a dolla.......lol
Borrow a dollar? I’m eating cat food tonight.

bought FNB @ 13 and it’s 23/24. Only a thousand shares. I’ll flush that fucker out tomorrow. If this was a month ago I would’ve told you that stock would’ve had me eating oodles and noodles and drinking the finest hugs. Mothafucka broke my heart.
