Has the Georgia Tapes been discussed in this thread?

The president tries to finagle a win where there isn’t one, picks up the epic failing baton from Lindsey Graham in the Georgia election race.

I would hope democratic candidates in the future feel free to verbally and physically beat down republican candidates moving forward.

CNN's Federicka just said a president's job is to protect the country. She then asks "who's going to protect the country from this president?"
That's a million dollars question that Republicans should be asking themselves. These tapes are like Ukraine 2.0 and nothing happened at the Senate after he was impeached. I do wonder if the Republicans feel like they're fucking up this country, especially in the last 4 years..

Damn, that was quick. Full hour tape released.

I am very surprised the secretary of state of Georgia is putting Trump on front Street like this then again he’s protecting his own ass. Trump is a low down dirty snake in the grass for lack of a better word. I do have better words Trump is a asshole and a bitch ass CAC.

For anyone wondering how we got here, GOP has been preparing for this since Nixon was impeached. :smh: Cacs play the long game while some of Us are too busy trying to find middle ground with them...

If Fox News had a DNA test, it would trace its origins to the Nixon administration. In 1970, political consultant Roger Ailes and other Nixon aides came up with a plan to create a new TV network that would circumvent existing media and provide "pro-administration" coverage to millions. "People are lazy," the aides explained in a memo. "With television you just sit — watch — listen. The thinking is done for you." Nixon embraced the idea, saying he and his supporters needed "our own news" from a network that would lead "a brutal, vicious attack on the opposition."

A Plan for Putting the GOP on the News

He really didn't have a choice. Trump is in town and coming for him. I'm liking this dude. He got heart.

I hope some people finally see that Trump is the type of person that gets you to do his dirt while getting him off the hook......this is what he did to his ex lawyer hell this is what he did to plenty of people in His Circle. Republicans better sit back and recalculate standing up for him or they will be next ones under the bus.
gotta listen to Cohen's podcast! "Mea Culpa " he really details a lot of these things especially behavioral

Bruh - there's like 250 million reasons. Trump has money to burn. This dude is probably getting $10k a day. Imagine making your whole year's salary in like 30 days by simply spouting shit on Twitter and filing bullshit, mispelled legal documents. Sheeeetttttt

Trump is going to do the same thing. Hold rallies and virtual interviews from his properties, spend money for security detail (think those secret service individuals that were loyal to him), and start his own media empire on the backs of these conspiracy theories.

Shit is amazingly simple and effective. At the root of this is white racism and the feeling that they are losing their country. Trump is gonna come out of this a true billionaire and enough money to fight NY and any other state charges for at least a few years.

Brah, has Trump ever done anything successfully? Even with a billion dollars? He can't start a media empire with campaign funds. And the big media companies will not allow it. Murdoch alone will bury Trump shit quick.

Murdoch's holding company, News Corp, owns The New York Post, The Times of London, and The Wall Street Journal publisher Dow Jones & Company, among many other assets. Murdoch, now 88 years old, currently spends his days at the helm of another News Corp property, Fox News. Murdoch used his media holdings to sway elections in Australia, the UK, and the US, an April 2019 investigation by The New York Times found.
