Contrary to reports it does not have DRM for disks. The "Online-Activation" is the downloading of a config file for Auto-HDR. You don't need to go online again for any reason unless you uninstall the game.

Ok, thats good to know. However, if ya got a new system, ya might want a new game or two as well. Can it be used on software? if so the $40 savings is interchangeable and still saves the consumer $40. Thank you for pointing that out kind sir.

The games are smoother and actually look better to me. Loads quicker and got the resume play which is nice. Definitely can't put it in an enclosed area. Gives off a good amount of heat. Not sure if it is worth the 500, but it definitely is an upgrade from the X.
