Joe Biden is now POTUS

I wonder if Ice Cube agrees with their plan for the black community:

Specifically, the Biden-Harris administration will:

  • Spur public-private investment through a new small business opportunity plan.
  • Reform opportunity zones to fulfill their promise.
  • Make a historic commitment to equalizing federal procurement.
  • Ensure the Biden-Harris housing plan makes bold investments in homeownership and access to affordable housing for Black, Brown and Native Families.
  • Achieve equity in management, training, and higher education opportunities connected to the jobs of the future.
  • Boost retirement security and financial wealth for Black, Brown, and Native Families.
  • Ensure workers of color are compensated fairly and treated with dignity.
  • Ensure equity in Biden’s bold infrastructure and clean energy investments.
  • Support second chances for economic success.
  • Strengthen the Federal Reserve’s focus on racial economic gaps.
  • Promote diversity and accountability in leadership across key positions in all federal agencies.
  • Build a 21st century care infrastructure.
  • Address longstanding inequities in agriculture.
It may not be what he specifically wants but i'd say, they have a plan.

This is good because Trump wasn’t going to do none of the shit that ice cube want to do anyway so he can kiss my gold fish ass.

Legit question regarding GM and their electric program... I remember they had a Cadillac some years back that was fully EV and it didn't really move. I also remember the Chevy Spark... Also didn't move. Neither were fully electric, but it was a step. So they clearly had the capabilities. My question is... Would the type of buyer that likes to be cutting edge, embraces fully electric, the typical Tesla owner. Are they lining up to buy a GM??? Because when I talk to Tesla owner they honestly sound like Apple people in that its just as much about "owning a Tesla" as it is about the tech. So I guess I'm skeptical about how successful GM really wouldve been had then been first to market with a fully electric vehicle.
A personal oberservation, I made after interacting quite frequently on a professional and personal level with many Big 3 personnel. The engineers love their jobs and talk about the great teams they work on. They seem like they can't wait to get to work. The business side thinks everybody they work with is a fucking idiot.

Trump is the GOAT of petty. This nigga is really about to fuck the GOP
There is no way Stone does this without Trump "signing off".

And this is the guy the GOP sold the bites remaing of their pathetic souls to?
How anyone is loyal to Trump is beyond me.
The dude is as petty and dishonorable and narcissistic as they come and will turn on you in a nano sec.
That's not the type of character you pledge eternal loyality to.
Worst he's show his character over and over and over. Thus getting burned is on you! Not him!

All of this is good stuff. However, Cube was interested in making sure that black people were the beneficiaries of policies directed at black people. All of this is "people of color" rhetoric, which will help the millions of Hispanics that voted for Trump.

Lmao you latch on to the dumbest shit like you have an actual point, shit is hilarious and exhausting in equal measure

Do I need to school you again like I did in the Civil War thread champ? Because believe me... I can. Anyone pretending these parties are “the same” in light of the fascist bullshit unfolding right now (and historically to be frank) is engaging in a wholesale departure from reality. Miss me with the bullshit. There are very legitimate critiques to make of mainstream Democrats and the corporate structure of power and racism they’ve helped to uphold but pretending there’s no measurable difference between the parties speaks more to your ignorance than it does to some meaningful argument,

BGOL has been incredibly boring for years and countless “big brain” folks like yourself have made the exact same vacuous statements only to be met with the same dismissal from folks who know better. Read more and type less. Stay safe big guy.
School who about the civil war? You can remain the brainwashed coon who believed that a whole country went to war just to set black folks free.

Additionally, you can remain the ignorant imbecile who believes that the lives of black folks have changed or will change significantly because a different party is in the white house.

My point is and has always been that black folks need to tighten up and fix what we can fix on our own. We can not continue to wait for massa to save us because they will not and have shown us they won't.

79% don't really believe that shit. It's just an excuse they're willing to except to subvert democracy and uphold white supremacy.

That bitch ass nigga been getting kicked in his ass all over this muhfucka lol

@Tito_Jackson you fucking coon dunce
If you call me providing unrefutable facts and data "getting kicked in the ass" then so be it.

You are the real coon and sell out on this board and you try to divert the attention from your ignorance by co-signing other ignorant posters. However, no matter how many laugh gifs you post, facts are still facts.

Stay ignorant my brother, it suits you well.

I haven't commented on the Ice Cube thing in this post and don't really care too.
I think on the surface Ice Cube was well intentioned in terms of helping his people.
But you gotta know your devil!

Everything about Trump from his business practices to multiple lawsuits etc plainly suggests he's beyond a dispicable businessman and even less of a human.

The general eye test says that's not who you want your name associated with.

Honestly and i don't know all the details so this may have been done already.

If Cube came out and basically said,
"I thought this was an opportunity to really help our people. Even knowing Trump reputation, when it comes to business dealings, i was willing to take a chance that their was a possibility this could work with his adminstration. Clearly that's not the case. Now i hope the Biden/Harris adminstration will give us the opportunity to work together to improve the lives of minorities everywhere. This was never meant to hurt so many people that i care deeply about and i apologize for unfortunately doing that. I will continue to work and fight on our behalf of our people and I hope i have your support as we move forward with these important issues."

Everybody peep game about you doggie, I ain't even about to talk serious w you.

How could this be with more than a few claiming their 401k, etc...did better under Trump, than Obama, and that's why they're voting for Trump?

It’s official: Obama’s first-term stock market performance beats Trump’s by a wide margin

"Obama beats Trump—at least when it comes to stock market performance.

Fortune ran the numbers as of the stock market close yesterday to measure market performance from Inauguration Day through Election Day for the first terms of both Trump and Obama. Trump’s tenure was certainly a good stretch for investors: The S&P 500 index rose 45.7% over that time, for an annualized return of 10.5% a year.

But that still doesn’t come close to matching the gains seen under Barack Obama. During Obama’s first term, the S&P was up 77.4% for an annualized total return of 16.3%.

Obviously, the stock market that each President inherits has everything to do with underlying economic conditions, as well as sheer luck."
