Joe Biden is now POTUS

If Biden and his team don't have a firm response to this shit by tomorrow I'm going to start getting worried.

They can't let him keep making this moves and spinning this narrative with the half of the country that voted for him without addressing and deading that shit.

so.....how can Biden stop him? What measures can he invoke to stop Trump from changing folks in his government albeit an 11th hour move, a dangerous move at that?

It's not a matter of stopping who he hires or fires, the Biden administration needs to get in front of this to prevent Trump and his team from controlling the narrative regarding the election results which is dangerous and can have long lasting ramifications for Biden and his administration.

One of the avenues they are trying, and which is truly worrying, is that votes should be cut off at a certain point. They keep talking about "legal" votes being up until the polls close. Naturally, most of the votes coming in afterward are for democrats.

I'm not sure how they work it out but if it goes to the senate or SCOTUS we just may be fucked.

We cannot let up until tRump and all his crooks are out and in prison.

PA and NC court ruled that votes can be counted as long as the mail in ballot is not postmarked after Nov 3. If I can remember a few Trump appointees ruled on the extension.

You saw all of those people celebrating on the white house lawn, in NY, philly, etc? Sit back and watch.

Yes. I believe he's 0-10 with the lawsuits. But still, you can't trust this fucker and his minions. Like some horror movie they just won't die until they're burnt to ashes.

Y'all thought he was kidding. Republicans have been playing chess for some time now, and now after their king has be pinned, they're looking to get out of check, and checkmate this country.

“We’re an empire now, and when we act, we create our own reality. And while you’re studying that reality — judiciously, as you will — we’ll act again, creating other new realities, which you can study too, and that’s how things will sort out. We’re history’s actors . . . and you, all of you, will be left to just study what we do.”

― Karl Rove

But the radical far left Trumps talks about will burn this bitch down. They are not as forgiving as the moderates. They are growing. This is the new face of the party. And they're smart.

That is the narrative they are trying to push, to get ppl worrying, doubtful and make it look like Trump stand a chance. It is over.

Trump has instilled so much fear in ppl, the shit is amazing.

This is why I asked and suggested to @Spectrum that any incumbent that has lost their reelection campaign should automatically have their powers limited and the winner should have some say in that incumbents decision making their last couple of weeks in office. Now without something like that you invite the incumbent to be a sore loser and fuck shit up on the way out. That bad for everyone!

Yes, but I wasn't talking about that. I'm in reference to him burning down everything in his quest to avoid prison. Because that's what this is all about in the end.
Just look at the shit he's doing now, replacing people with his stooges.
If he can't figure out a way to pardon himself his ass is grass for federal crimes especially treason. He'll be happy NY state only wants to put him in Clinton CF. Wouldn't that be ironic?

So, one of my white colleagues at work said something very interesting. He said that the lawsuits are not about actually winning. It is more about creating a narrative that can be used to can the flames and keep Trump's based energized through 2023. Right now, the republicans do not have anyone poised to replace Trump. Yes, there are other republican politicians. However, according to this Trump supporter, he believed that either Trump is going to run again or Trump will have to endorse another candidate. This will be the only way to get the Trump base on board with any republican presidential bid. Additionally, every president has missteps. Every one. So, Trump may be banking on this to win over the 5% of Biden voters needed to win.

We all know that if Biden doesn't come through for black folks, the turn out will be significantly lower and many more will vote for Trump.

These are troubled times.

It is indeed but the electoral votes aren't even counted until January so it is what it is. Constitution says so.

I've suggested people read the article in The Atlantic which describes just what you said. The scariest part being the next trump will be politically savvy and much less rough around the edges.

I'm not worried about tRump in 2024, if he's not in prison he'll be old and decrepit looking; even more than now. No, I'm worried about the next hitler.

Trump’s behavior is exposing all the systemic flaws that can be exploited. Could you imagine had Biden barely won?

Exactly. You tell someone such and such said 1+1=2 and they go ape shit because the don't like the source of the fact and will argue giving insane reasons why 1+1 doesn't equal 2 when that person says it.

Covid did not go away. Don't get mad because people got called out.

Additionally, brothers please wear your masks correctly. Wearing a mask and not covering your nose is idiotic. Contagious droplets come from your mouth and nose which originate from the respiratory system. This is why during testing, they shove the swab so far into your nasal cavity.

Be safe brothers. We are still dying at alarming rates over this. The past two days have resulted record cases and deaths. Unfortunately, due to news overload, this information has been missed and is no longer front page news.
I'm not gonna say I told you so, but.........

136000 new cases reported Tuesday.

62,000 people currently hospitalized.

These are the highest numbers since the pandemic began.

Stay home people. Do not celebrate. Do not have large Thanksgiving gatherings.

It is going to be exponentially worst over the next few weeks and months.

How in the hell is Porky Trump gonna run for Prez, start a network or be some king maker from prison

So, think of it from white politicians point of view. Many politicians, both democrats and Republicans care about the global image of the country. Placing a former president in jail is not what any of them want. The credibility and prestige of the country will be diminished. Additionally, the amount of time required to do this which will take away from time that could be used to enact real and needed policies.

We might not like it, but I really think after the transition, they will try to ignore and downplay most of Trump's transgressions and just move on.

In reality, it wouldnt really benefit the country or black folks to put him in jail.

5%?
The Democrats are content with the result because they won but there seems to be little focus on the GOP voters fraud.
