The biggest difference is they can’t run on a white supremcist platform (thank goodness).

And plus, Trump was an expert at playing victim from the shit he created. Another reason why he was able to garner sympathy from a lot of his supports. Everyone was always doing something to him. Zero accountability.

The mere fact that on the surface this president has promised to take this pandemic more seriously by diverting appropraite resourse towards limiting and eliminating its spread says otherwise.
