I really feel like early votes/mail ins are giving Dems the edge in Florida. Repubs have had a 15K lead on Dem as far as voting today, yet they are still 30K votes behind....

I would as well but in New York State you can't vote in any primary races unless you're one or the other so I registered as Democrat since at this time voting Republican isn't realistic.
That being said I don't in any way consider myself committed to either party and in a perfect world I'd be willing to vote for a candidate regardless of party affiliation.

In addition to the other replies, some people only vote the top of the ticket and skip down ballot and issues. There are also folks who purposely want a divided government to keep a check on POTUS.
