Joe Biden is now POTUS

Trump is polling worse against Biden than he did against Hillary in EVERY SINGLE BATTLEGROUND STATE and he barely won last time by 70,000 votes. I just don't see a path for Trump and considering how many people have already voted, nothing can really change between now and election day. I think Dems have PTSD from the last election, but this thing probably won't be close. It might look closer on election night but remember how the midterms were... after all the votes were counted it was a blowout. I think by the end of next week it will be clear that we had another blue wave.

Media has a role to play in this too. We have ample precedent for it taking time to count votes especially when you have so many mail in votes. However, you already know Fox and Trump will be out there on election night claiming fraud in the states he is losing early and claiming victory in other states before the votes are counted. Mainstream media can't do their normal "both sides" on this shit :smh:

Would you mind explaining/expounding on the nature of the 'fear' you speak of down there?

:please:

Thanks

Fear of certain groups losing their rights to do and practice what they preach. South Florida is a growing black middle class trying to expand and there's a lot of kickback for them doing certain things.

Basically, when they raise the middle you force everyone to compete and people don't wanna do that. Black Sucess is fearful to most groups.. they try best to avoid that.

The GOP spent a lot of money and time building up the socialism narrative for whomever would become the democratic nominee. They're all bought in, Cubans, Venezuelans etc.

:smh:

Shit like this gets me heated. We have to stop trying to court these Spanish speaking cacs. :smh: They see trump support as their path to "whiteness" in the US despite trump running on a fuck a latino platform and having kids in cages. Imagine if the next republican is more like Bush and not trump in terms of latino outreach...:smh:

ive spent a good part of my adult life in Latin America (I’m in Mexico now). The Latinos that make it here are overwhelmingly WHITE Latinos once you exclude Mexicans. They are white supremacists in their native counties so I don’t expect them to behave differently in the U.S.

Like I said in 2016, the GOP will always cheat. Trump is willing to do so turbocharged and in public. I take nothing for granted. No one foresaw the USPS fuckery coming. Who would have imagined someone messing with the postal service AND refusing to follow judges orders to make it right? There is no telling what else they are planning that we don't know about. Folks need to get out and vote.

Thanks for the insight.

Nothing insightful about it Miami is about as 3rd world as it gets so these Hispanics and whites wanna keep them laws tight which why they love trump. They got cities filled up of people who don't speak English living well. The media doesn't discuss that much.

I honestly didn’t even think Iowa was in play for Biden. Not sure was it ever a good sign.

I don't think it's simply about who would win Iowa the state, but that poll historically has been a solid...not concrete of course, but a solid barometer of how some of the midwestern states were leaning. That's a massive swing of votes in a month. Either something is way off (certainly a really good possibility...the poll saying Biden was up 17 in Wisc was no doubt way off) or this is tightening more than I personally want.

No doubt though that I'm definitely suffering from PTSD from 2016.

I just want to make sure we all do what we can to vote and not sit at home getting too confident...this country has proved time and time again how stupid and racist it is for me not to be pessimistic when it comes to the right thing(s) to do.

still not buying Florida..michigan, Wisconsin, and pa is Biden's firewall..if he loses PA and FL, then it will get interesting

Michigan and Wisconsin are gone. Too many legitimate polls with Biden at 10 points and over 50%. If he gets those two, hold Hillary's states, and gets NC, he's over 270.

I don't think there will be enough GOP fuckery to make up 1M votes on ED. We'll see. I'm definitely not confident about Florida.

Don't forget about Arizona.

In NC, Wake (#1), Mecklenburg (#2), Durham (#6), and Buncombe (#7) have all past their 2016 election day total in early voting. Durham County is intriguing because Hillary Clinton got 77% of the vote there in 2016. If Biden can push it to 80%, that will be some good eating for him.

Texas might be the new California. If people remember, Cali used to be a deep red state. Dems went decades not winning there. Then it flipped and never went back. Texas isn't really a Red State. It's been a non-voting state. For instance, if you get 100% participation in Arkansas, it's deep red. 100% participation in Texas is clearly Blue. If this bitch flips, the dems will control the house and they can start breaking up the gerrymandering, etc and rewire the state. and eventually, that's going to put the Senate there in play. I'd be all game on Trump winning FL and GA if we got Texas to flip. That would be a 74-point swing in EC votes.
