Undecided Black women in Atlanta unenthusiastic about candidates

We have Black representatives. What we lack are concentrated Black POLICIES and AGENDAS that benefit us!!

That can be done if people come out and support Black candidates that run for state and local elections and then support Black candidates that run for Federal elections and then make sure that we have enough of these people in place... So that there bills make it out of subcommittee and get support on the Floor...

Cause what we don't see

Is that ... for years we have tons of bills out there that are specifically designed to help us...

Shit has been going on FOREVER ....

But until we get more representation ... Nothing is going to matter. You need significant numbers to pass shit through subcommittee and then on the floor because Republicans aren't going to support this shit.

Statistically when we get in office... We are one of the most active voters but we don't have the numbers..

This is why I fucking laugh at all of this gawd damn nonsense about Democratic plantation blah blah blah shit....

The republicans are never going to vote on our shit... Yet as long as we have the electoral college and rural counties ... they will ALWAYS be a problem.

For the Democrats to have a legit chance to evoke real fucking change... They have to have significant numbers. Numbers so strong that we can take the hit in two years during the next election when Dems get push back from Repubs who want to come in and change shit.

Whats the fucking point of Biden and the dems ...coming in and making Sweeping changes when in the next two years... Dems slack off and let repubs come in and change shit..

First we need a full democratic super majority with Democratic governors...

Then we use that remove the electoral college from the constitution.. (This would severally hurt the republican party and would force them to make significant changes if they want a seat at the large table again)

Then we legalize marijuana and remove mandatory minimum sentencing ...

Then we give incentives to states to follow the federal lead with weed and mandatory minimums

Then we give incentives to states to make it easier for felons to vote and provide programs to help them get jobs ... (the cycle is what's killing us)

Then we work on a realistic path to remove student loan debt ...

These are the things that need immediate implementation ....

But the most important part is that we have to VOTE in numbers every two years.... Every election is the most important election.

  • What was the Democratic agenda for Black ADOS America when SCOTUS was less right-wing/conservative dominated, Obama was in office, and he even had a brief majority Democratic Congress?
  • What would the Democratic agenda be for Black ADOS America if Biden/Harris wins?
  • How will you get that agenda through Biden/Harris?

Obamacare helped the black community
Black unemployment was falling steadily under his two terms and continued so much that trump takes credit for it.
Filed lawsuits to block controversial, GOP-backed voting laws,
Reducing the disparity in prison sentences between crack and powder cocaine users,
Defended affirmation action,
Demanded police departments like the one in Ferguson change their practices,
Took steps to shut down for-profit colleges that often prey on minority students. (like trump university for instance)

As for Biden
he was vice president to the first black man elected president
he has a black woman as his vice presidential candidate
he's malleable to the left and progressive side of social and political issues (more so that trump)
he's apologized for the fucked up shit he's said or done
he's a moderate democrat and has a history of working across the aisle very effectively...he was actually better at it than Obama and much of the task of coalition building was done by him during the Obama years.
Even tho Joe is an old white man who benefitted from white supremacy he's willing to recognize and make recompense (at least up to a point) for that.
Joe Biden said at a CNN town hall on Thursday that he has benefitted from white privilege "just because I don't have to go through what my Black brothers and sisters have had to go through."

When asked by Bob Woodward if he had "any sense" that white or financial privilege had isolated him from understanding the perspective of Black Americans, President Trump reportedly said: "No. You really drank the Kool-Aid, didn’t you? Just listen to you. Wow. No, I don’t feel that at all."

now will you answer the questions about trump??

I asked you a question the other day.
I said slave holders were racist and many abolitionist were racist as well.
Yet if you had to choose between the two, who would you choose to work with and which one do you believe you can get things done with?
This is a argumentative fallacy of false equivalents.

You might as well ask. If you are starving would you eat a plate of poison or a plate of fish with shit on it.

Just a dumb ass question that forces an answer based upon self perseverance to illicit a "gotcha."

It far from dumb. You say both presidential candidates are racist but there are two choices and you have to choose one. Yet if you choose neither one, one candidate will still he president. The same way if choose not to vote in state and local elections. There will still be people who will be chosen and you have a chance to chose which one you best think you can work with. That's a fact of life, since there will never be a perfect candidate. Sometimes you hsve to choose between poison or fish with shit to survive and progress.
I understand though why you want to avoid answering the question because it would fuck up your whole narrative

its not a dumb question its a life question because your GOING TO HAVE TO DEAL WITH one or the other. The slaver or the abolitionist who belives slavery is wrong BUT your not like them either. It was a real choice your great great grandfather had to make.

And your sitting here today in a society that's STILL white supremacist based dealing with shit that you find objectionable and your saying you don't have to make that choice. But the question is BASED ON WHAT???

What's your alternative to trump and biden in the here and now? Whoever wins means YOU have to deal with the world and society they shape...so would you rather deal with?

He knows what he doing. He's been taking that shit and my question puts him in a dilemma. So he'd rather shit on the question and avoid answering.

Ok what has been the voter turnout percentage in Cleveland?
How many people show up to town hall meeting?
How many people show up to school board meeting?
How many people are actively involved in pushing elected officials do what they want?
Shit..how many people even know what they want.
Voting is the beginning phase and not the end phase. This has been the problem. The base is going to come out and vote and be happen with whatever. If you are not happy with whatever, then why wait until election time to begin your grievance? Your grievance should have started from the time elected officials are elected and if they haven't given you any results by the time registration for elections begins. Then back someone else and get rid of the people who failed to show any results.
This shit aint hard but people make it hard by simply bitching and complaining but don't do shit but sit on their hands and blame everybody else. Take control of your home, neighborhood, city, etc....

Fam people don't get it and thats the problem..... People act like they know how this game has to be played

but they are out here trying to fucking play HALO with an Atari 2600 joystick

Niggas are like...

I want all these changes .... and then what..

How are you going to get these changes?

Are niggas in Wisconsin going to get the same type of changes that a Nigga in New York going to get .... and that answer is FUCK NO.

Until you get to a point where... Votes really matter and that's going to require removing the Electoral College

Neither side is going to do shit for us...... That's just a fact. Neither side can realistically afford to cater completely to our side..

Again...

That's a fact .. You can't anger swing voters in a swing state if you need electors to win an election . ....

Again ...

FACT

..... So to change the game... You first need to rewrite the game

and that requires ..

Making our vote count on the Federal, State, and Local level ... equally

and the only way to do that..

Is removing the Electoral College

and the only way to do that

Is to have complete control over the Executive and Legislative Branch and enough Democratic state legislators to push support statewide to amend the constitution .

maxresdefault.jpg

Everything else...

In all honesty and with all due respect

Is fucking Stupid ......

Shit like...
"I'm not voting for this guy because he doesn't have Black policies on his agenda" -- well that fine ... Let the republicans win and don't say shit about the Democrats being weak cause you let that shit happen

"What is he going to do for us?" -- again that's fine ... I get it

But as the president ... What can he do ... especially now that the Supreme court is a 6-3 majority ....

If the Dems don't maintain the house and the senate ... what can they do and what can they do that won't be overturned during the next term if Repubs take power...

Shit isn't rocket science .... but fuckers are trying to make this hard by looking at the wrong thing.

I'm so sick making these same gawd damn arguments ....

Just use FUCKING LOGIC ..

Look at this white demographic shit from 2016

I feel these sistas 100%.

I don't understand this pressure to vote for Biden. This CAC calls the Crime Bill he supported a "mistake" but hasn't presented anything to rectify it. He hasn't made a solid stand on Recessions but still feels entitled to our support because he is "not Trump". This CAC told us that we "aren't black unless we vote for him but haven't EARNED it.

Unfortunately, the majority of my brothers and sisters have so low expectations, that they feel he doesn't HAVE to EARN our vote.
We have voted for the "least evil" for generations. NO other political group does this. Ice Cube challenges him to a solid plan for US, and we call him a coon for it.

The Truth is that Trump hasn't done anything more damaging to Black folks as that Crime Bill.

More importantly democratic legislators because that is who will be needed to vote to change from the electoral college to the popular vote.

Its going to require Democrats on every level fam

This is what it takes to amend the constitution

Article V of the United States Constitution outlines basic procedures for constitutional amendment.

1. Congress may submit a proposed constitutional amendment to the states, if the proposed amendment language is approved by a two-thirds vote of both houses.

2. Congress must call a convention for proposing amendments upon application of the legislatures of two-thirds of the states (i.e., 34 of 50 states).

3.Amendments proposed by Congress or convention become valid only when ratified by the legislatures of, or conventions in, three-fourths of the states (i.e., 38 of 50 states).

).

You see what it has to take....

You need Democrats on every fucking level to do this... because Republicans aren't voting for this shit. Back in the day... they were all for removing the electoral college, but they know now that when it goes... It's a wrap for them politically.

They would still win some states, but they would never win the popular vote and without the Executive branch they wouldn't be able to push a meaningful agenda.. they would have to adapt who they are and seek to gain members outside of their hardcore base. They would basically have to become Jeffersonian Republicans.

you think 4 more years of this will be better? did the brutality cases that ignited the riots of the summer happen under biden or trump?

It's their experience that their lives are the same no matter who wins. Folks will try to tell them otherwise, but it don't change shit.
It does matter because Feds set the stages for local and state; so it plays a part; to say it dont change shit is ignorant and flat out ridiculous...

Come on fam .... it took like 2 seconds for me to find two stories about how he want to fix this. He even said it clearly during the debate.

He dropped a policy last year...

In fact his proposal .... focusing on fixing the real issue by dealing with the states is like the only way to really fix this.

There is one point to his crime bill that I think is one of the most important in my view

  • Create a new $20 billion competitive grant program to spur states to shift from incarceration to prevention. To accelerate criminal justice reform at the state and local levels, Biden will create a new grant program inspired by a proposal by the Brennan Center. States, counties, and cities will receive funding to invest in efforts proven to reduce crime and incarceration, including efforts to address some of the factors like illiteracy and child abuse that are correlated with incarceration. In order to receive this funding, states will have to eliminate mandatory minimums for non-violent crimes, institute earned credit programs, and take other steps to reduce incarceration rates without impacting public safety.

Also ... Kats forgot that a lot of black people supported that same crime bill when it dropped in 1994 .....

Also to think Trump hasn't done anything more damaging to Black folks as that Crime Bill is the dumbest fucking shit.. Just look at what we have been dealing with for the last 4 years.

True Governors are less important when it comes to ratification so I agree... Legislators are way more important.

But...but....the crime bill.
These folks are just as foolish as Trump supporters who will cut off their nose to spite their face. :smh:
All they want to do is hope dems lose so that they can say dumb shot like see..they "didn't listen to black people, etc.... but the republicans have listen to you and will not listen to you going forward.
We've seen and continue to see what republicans do when they get what they perceive as a mandate to do what the fuck they want to do and it been advantage black people.

Republicans have been in control almost my entire life and I'm 41... In 41 years... I've seen two democratic presidents... 16 years total. Dems only controlled the house and senate a grand total of 4 years in those 16 years. That means there has been 25 (FUCKING YEARS) of Republican control over the presidency and a WHOPPING 37 years over controlling either both or at least one of the Chambers of Congress.

Yet Somehow

Somehow..

It's the Democrats fault .....

I'm talking from their perspective man. You can't tell a person who is doing the same as they were in 2005, 2010, 2015, and 2020 that shit is going to change for them because of a politician. Just like you can go out and buy a new foreign car no problem in 2021 regardless of who wins nov 3, they going to be doing their same ol same ol regardless.

On a personal level, their lives haven't changed much. That's how they feel. It may be ignorant, but people tend to only care about their immediate reality.

It's their experience that their lives are the same no matter who wins. Folks will try to tell them otherwise, but it don't change shit.

They probably fucking up their own life at an exponential rate so maybe it does seem that way. Of course, we have a Pandemic killing folks and one guy is lying about it and did nothing to stop it. Just on that alone if you can't make up your mind you're a Fucking Fool.

they all do that...I'm STILL waiting for @VAiz4hustlaz and @Entrepronegro @KingTaharqa and @xfactor to answer my question on how ADOS intends to deal with a trump 2nd term.... they never do :rolleyes2: :rolleyes2: :rolleyes2: :rolleyes2: its just trolling for trolling sake.
What question did I not answer? i already stated the solution multiple times.

nothing will be different for the so-called black community 2020-2024 under Trump or Biden except one thing - Biden will save all fake minority groups whereas trump will provide equal apathy. What group has proven to be the most resilient in the history of modern civilization?

oh you mean this...

my temporary plan (meant to last for the next 12 months) - abolish the federal reserve, open up Fort Knox and run an audit on the amount of gold available and reconcile the value with the cash in circulation, any surplus is distributed to DOAS and any deficit must be paid in taxes from non-DOAS (including any immigrants that came to the United States after the Civil Rights Act), add a one time tax on corporations’ top line revenue for their 2019 fiscal years and lastly, provide monthly check payments to ONLY descendants of American Chattel slavery in perpetuity or until a settlement amount is reached. The $4 Trillion will fund the trust paid out to anyone over 18 that meets eligibility criteria. Only people eligible are those with one paternal or maternal ancestor listed as so-called black before 1865. Anyone person identifying as so-called black that cannot trace ancestry in United States before the previous date is ineligible.

This is FANTASY and not feasible in any foreseeable future or dimension. There are NO credible politicians (even radical ones) who would endorse all of it even if they liked parts of it and you would need all of it to do what your talking about. So as of today in 2020, your plan is officially BULLSHIT! Does anyone else here co-sign this???:rolleyes2::rolleyes2::rolleyes2:

this is what I'm talking about this is nonsense and not serious because it doesn't take into account the world we live in. :smh: :smh: :smh:

SO AGAIN WHAT REALISTIC ALTERNATIVE DO YOU HAVE OTHER THAN BIDEN OR TRUMP? OR ARE YOU SAYING BLACK PEOPLE SHOULD WITHHOLD THEIR VOTE UNTIL YOUR FANTASY SOLUTION BECOMES REAL??

That can be done if people come out and support Black candidates that run for state and local elections and then support Black candidates that run for Federal elections and then make sure that we have enough of these people in place... Undecided Black women in Atlanta unenthusiastic about candidates

Chris Jansing interviews a panel of three undecided Black women in Atlanta, Georgia. The voters expressed their frustrations that the Biden campaign is taking Black voters for granted.

I’m Dont mind them holding out till election day if it gets results
