NBA Season is Returning This Year!!!!!!!

The best Sixers roster was the one when they had the Euros to space the floor. That didn't expose Simmons as much.

Elton Brand doesn't seem like he knows what he's doing :dunno:

I am so reluctant to attack a young brother

But this looks bad

We cant keep going back to the jimmy Reddick mistake but wtf they gonna do going forward

I used to get killed for criticizing Simmons for not shooting on here...

Funny how now finally they seeing it.

Yeah man.

Elton even if he is young for a GM, seems like he's in to the old NBA mentality. Dude got more defensive players instead of shooting.

With floor spacing Simmons can do his thing inside and him not shooting doesn't matter as much. It essentially made him a point forward without the stuff Brown was trying to do.

but him giving Tobias Harris all that money. Letting Redook go. :smh: For a third option? Harris is too streaky and he is a second option on the Sixers offensively.

And for a team that needed leadership, which Jimmy provided, because neither Embiid or Simmons are leaders.

If anything give it to Jimmy who can be a second option, because right now with Simmons not shooting he's a third or fourth.

The issue was that the team had become Embiid and Jimmy versus Simmons, because Jimmy saw Simmons didn't have that dog in him, just like he knew Wiggins and Towns didn't.

Why Pat Riley not called the greatest ever?

Sidebar 3...

Lebron like the greatest nba exec in the last decade, right?

IMO Kuzma should have been out there instead of Morris. Morris didn't bring anything, and at least Kuzma has potential to score.
Morris is straight trash on defense a straight matador on defense.
Kuz gets terrible fouls tho. He doesnt know how to control his body and ALWAYS gets called for contact, whether its in the paint or at the 3 point line.

Vogel coached a horrible game tho. The substitutions, and use of timeouts is what ultimately lost the game.

I’ve been thinking about this and it’s fucked up what they’re doing to Danny Green, ESPECIALLY the media asking Lebron about it and him having to make a statement about it. Players miss key shots all the time, they are going overboard on blaming him for that loss

They have to make this seem life or death for LeBron and the Lakers. In a year that Kobe lost his life.

but Danny just makes boneheaded plays and terrible shots damn near the whole game.

 :lol:True...but I’m saying they’re going overboard with making him the scapegoat for that loss, it was a 3 pointer so it wasn’t the easiest shot to begin with. They said this was his Steve Kerr/John Paxson moment, memes and vids being made, got other players/celebrities talking about it, he’ll they’re blaming Danny Green more that Morris who threw the ball 5 feet out of bounds..lol

So lets get to it...

Your the new gm

Docs the new coach

You trading embid and or simmons?

If they don’t adapt to the new style of coaching and actually put in work to win, then they gotta go.

They’re both great players, but realistically they haven’t won shit so they have no reason to have the egos that they have.

yeah i was more pissed at Morris throwing it out of bounds and just ignoring the fact that Lebron was wide the fuck open. he had been on fire all game......he should have been looking for the king.

Like you said Danny Green is always making bonehead plays so after him seeing and hearing all this imagine what’s gonna happen tomorrow night when he touches the ball

I hear u you right logically
But to give up on a generational talent is so damn counterintuitive

For all the jokes on markel jumpers at least he had the balls to Take them during a freaking game!

Simmons just doesn't make sense

You’re right about giving up on generational talent but if that person doesn’t use their talent or want to grow, then they’ll have to go because they’re holding back the team.

We both know they’re not getting rid of him but they should if he doesn’t work hard. The Sixers could be where the Heat are right now, if they had coaches and players who truly wanted to win.

Question

Has Ben Simmons IMPROVED as a player since he entered the league?

Question

Has Ben Simmons IMPROVED as a player since he entered the league?

Yes he has, he a Very good player and a game changer!

But he needs to shoot the ball, I’m not even saying he needs to make shots. But he needs to at least shoot to be a threat because defenses sag off and easily double team when they’re in half court basketball.

But yes he has improved, all around.

Danny doesn't even make bonehead plays, because he doesn't dribble that much or make turnovers

This shit has become like Skip Bayless observation of the NBA

Someone has to be blamed, when the entire team was bad besides two players.

Danny shot 3 for 8. Reading this shit you would think he was 3 for 18.

There were only three positive +/- on the team. Danny was one. Everyone shot poorly besides Lebron and AD.

Offensively?

He's become an all nba defender who can guard five positions, but on offense he's improved? He's improved on offense like Shaq improved his free throw shooting.
