With floor spacing Simmons can do his thing inside and him not shooting doesn't matter as much. It essentially made him a point forward without the stuff Brown was trying to do.
but him giving Tobias Harris all that money. Letting Redook go.
For a third option? Harris is too streaky and he is a second option on the Sixers offensively.And for a team that needed leadership, which Jimmy provided, because neither Embiid or Simmons are leaders.
If anything give it to Jimmy who can be a second option, because right now with Simmons not shooting he's a third or fourth.

You’re right about giving up on generational talent but if that person doesn’t use their talent or want to grow, then they’ll have to go because they’re holding back the team.
We both know they’re not getting rid of him but they should if he doesn’t work hard. The Sixers could be where the Heat are right now, if they had coaches and players who truly wanted to win.
