I can't remember who said it, but it was a while ago that someone said people thought well of Lindsey because he attached himself to a dominant personality (McCain) who was basically good, so he seemed honorable, because McCain was honorable. They said after McCain died he attached himself to Trump and took on his traits. It's striking to see that expressed in this ad.

Watching in C-SPAN now.
I've been waiting for this because though I've been hearing about Harrison ( I'm in NYC), I've never seen him active on the trail.
Graham does look pretty scared for sure.
 
Harrison killed Lindsey in this debate. They talked about the Affordable care act, police reform, covid recovery, rural development, minority opportunity projects, abortion rights, road infrastructure, term limit. Harrison was great on all points. I'm sure the debate will be available online. I can't wait for the Sunday papers.

Lindsey couldn't even stand still. He wanted to run up out of there so bad. He looks weak and is giving off a defeated vibe. Hopefully that encourages his normal voters to sit out or vote for Jaime.
 
Jaime isn't bouncing around as much. He seems much steadier and sure of himself. When he is swaying it comes across more as though he is ready and can't wait to pounce on Lindsey. Lindsey looks like he wants to flee.

I don't see it that way, they are just maximizing the money they got, which is only around $3 million. The co-founder has said some of their ads are basically designed to set Trump off so when he takes the bait and rants about it it actually gets their message out more effectively. If you know you only got a clip worth of bullets, you better make sure the shots count.

We've got 18 months to 2 years max before the Lincoln Project and other former GOP groups start turning all the heat back on dems. My fear is that the Biden campaign will embrace some of their political operatives for cabinet or other administration positions and start influencing dem policy from the inside.

They were far too quiet over the judicial appointment to replace RBG. Eventually they put out ads, but it was more about attacking Lindsey than Trump's and the GOP's actions, IMO.

If Trump weren't robbing and destroying the country to the point we are weakened in the eyes of other nations, I'm fully convinced they would all still be voting and running ads in favor of Trump. It's not his stated policies they oppose.

That said, I welcome the help, but we have to keep in mind this is a the enemy of my enemy is my friend relationship of convenience. Some are on record stating this is not the case, but I wouldn't expect them to own up to it. When you have a goal, form alliances where you can for common purposes, but always keep in mind who you are dealing with, and don't be shocked when they go back to promoting and assuring their own interests which may be in opposition to yours.
