The overall picture for Asians in America isn't that they are all doing well though. Hmong Americans have like a 35% poverty rate. Cambodian Americans have like a 30% poverty rate. That list is long.

There are specific sub-sets within Asians that are doing well. I think that's what BBD is saying. Just like all Africans in America aren't doing well but Nigerians are.. as a matter of fact, they are the MOST successful immigrant group in the U.S. when it comes to higher education.

I think BDB is saying that you aren't drawing the distinction and just broadly saying "asian". When you get into the subsets, you can start to realize why some are more advantaged than others. Even Indian-Americans... they're often upper-class Indians that get here in the first place.. a major advantage. So it isn't that all Indians do well, it's the ones who can actually get here that do. So you have to account for everything...not just their race, nationality, or ethnicity.

It continued: "Aside from questions of the law, Kelly has told others that one of the most difficult tasks he faced with Trump was trying to stop him from pulling out of NATO — a move that Trump has repeatedly threatened but never made good on, which would have been a seismic breach of American alliances and an extraordinary gift to Putin."

Kelly, a former Marine Corps general, was the secretary of homeland security before serving as the White House chief of staff from July 2017 to January 2019. His departure came after reports that he and Trump were no longer on speaking terms.
