Yeah I'm starting to see why some people didn't want to come back. These dudes have mentally checked out if today's games are any indication.
East was always 4 teams deep........bascially the playoffs just stating now when we get to the 2nd round. I'd shocked if they both don't go at least 6.
Honestly the Bucks vs Magic is a 1 vs 8th seed, the Magic were supposed to get swept.
OKC has a solid season but they overachieved and they’re supposed to lose.
Blazers vs Lakers with no Dame, they’re supposed to lose.
Next round’s games will hopefully be better.
While true......these games at least have been competitive in that series. OKC disappointed me because they couldn't get a stop to save their life. I also expected for them to exploit the Rockets interior but they didn't. I expected a much bette rosaries there. Blazers vs Lakers....this so far been the most competitive game on the slate shockingly. For now anyway.

The West now isn’t the West it was years ago. Honestly the past few years there was only one dominant team in the West and that’s as the Warriors.
Take away the Warriors and you have what you have now. Take away the Lakers, who’s the dominant team in the West?
The Clippers, Nuggets and Rockets have the best records in the West excluding the Lakers.
Not real dominant, and not even the same as the old West.
But even with that said, with the right team Lebron might’ve dominated the West back then too. Those Warriors battles would’ve probably been epic.

I predicted the "West is weak" stuff 2 years ago when people said Steph and the Dubs would never allow Bron to win another chip. Bron coming to the West made it tougher than it had been actually. If he played in the West his whole career he would have a better Finals record and better cumulative stats. He putting up numbers now he NEVER did in the East even as an old man.

Hey man you’re right. The West didn’t appear weak because the champs were coming out of the West but, the Warriors had no true competition or rival so you’re right.
Other than the Warriors, the West was weak.
