This is a good article. It's TOO good to have been a Cop on the beat or on patrol, the way it's written, without knowing that the author has risen to something higher and that's his current occupation (outside of being a columnist) is higher up the food chain, so to speak.

It's too clinical in areas that an insider would've used jargon for various descriptors. It's too clean...too neat and tailored for a particular (progressive) audience to seem genuine IMHO.

When I speak or write about my experiences in the military, I use phrases, acronyms, and terms that we actually used. Any jargon used requires an explanation, but the reader is able to discern that the author is genuine in what he's writing.

Officer A. Cab may very well have been on the PD for nearly a decade, but this article does not convince me of that at all. It comes off as written by an activist who is trying to convey a specific message.

A store clerk made a call to the police of teens 'with a gun'.
Policeman arrived and drew his gun on the teens.
Called for backup and the teens were searched.

It turns out the 'gun' was a BBGun which the kids threw in the bushes before police arrived.

How about this since every cop is so dayum scared of everything, how about telling these toy companies to stop manufacturing them or color them...I know it won't prevent a stupid cop from shooting a black kid but it's the logical thing to do.

It's amazing, how white kids can play with real and toy guns with no problems yet we can't even play with a BB gun. The sad part,it's white kids that's shooting up the schools but fuck all that lets point a gun at black kids with a BB gun..

I know...I know the black parents should have known better after Tamir Rice but still to act so dayum scared all the time is ridiculous....
