That’s why this was never gonna be close. I will confess that as a proud old head and a card-holding member of G.O.M.L. (Get Off My Lawn) I could never get into Nelly because his lyrics were dreadful. Of course what would come next was “That shit go hard in the whip” or “that shit make the bitches dance” as if owning one of his CD’s aided any muhfukah getting women and you liked the “track”, bump the instrumental instead.
Anyway, Luda has much better lyrics and his tracks were equally tough so this was a battle I never had to watch because I would walk away from the comp on Nelly’s set and clean or work and jam to Luda.
