This whole pandemic is opened our eyes to truths that can't be ignored any longer.

For instance....

Cops are making fewer arrests than ever before yet there's no massive crimewave.

Fixing air pollution is not only possible but has immediate benefits

homeless people living on the streets represents a city's lack of priorities not resources

Many of us can and should work from home.

We don't wash our hands enough

Politicians need to be judged on their ability to manage their districts. Politics, party, and policies aren't enough.

What else have we figured out?
 
We are not going back to normal, we need to reengineer the economy to fit this new normal. You are going to have all those people being dumped off from Boeing. The oil industry will be shedding workers.

We need to study countries that don't have a Boeing or oil industry, how do they maintain a high standard of living. Do they employ more socialist mechanisms to do it.

I recommended changing the gauge of trains, widening them substantially to create space on subways. These are public works projects that could be started to absorb these workers.

It's funny you should mention that. San Francisco stopped running their Muni trains about a week ago and replace them all with buses. Meanwhile they're doing all of the maintenance and upgrades they didn't have time to do before.

I've also noticed that there's road crews everywhere you go now. my guess is that projects that used to take weeks are getting done within days.

It's clear that much like the homeless, our failing infrastructure was from a lack of priorities not resources.

They will always try to say we gave it to the so called jews. I was shocked when I learned some blacks sued to be able to fight in the war. How do you send blacks to Europe to fight Hitler and the captured pow officers have more rights and privileges than the masses of blacks in the American army. Back then were the majority of who fought. And it is strange to go to Europe and fight for America and then they send billions of dollars Europe to rebuild Germany.
Seems like to me blacks should have been realized that our enemy is whites. In fact whites are an enemy to humanity. With any chance of blacks waking up to their true identity or true history whites have been slowly stepping up the job of not just only mastering and dominating but also genocide the black race.

This has shown me how much we depend on China and How we need to start making stuff here in America.

Corporations have to stop being greedy and start making things and creating Jobs in America, We have to stop looking to other countries just to save a couple dollars on Labor.

I sorta believe China when they said the US Military and the CIA planned the virus. In a weird crazy way. This has damaged china reputation.

They had all sort of deals for 5G Technology and Now a lot of countries won't be doing business with China like that.

Which will only benefit the West and the United States and it Kills Globalism

Neo-Conseratives and Neo-Liberals like Globalism like Open Borders and Free Trade to increase profits on Cheap Labor.

This will only help Nationalism Propaganda and people are going to have a Country First Policy Instead of a Globalism.
 
Some are confirmations, others are news to me.

1. Plenty of people in leadership positions are either liars, incompetent, or both. We already had examples of this shit, but this proved it above and beyond anything we have witnessed in the past. And it did so on the global level in a relatively short period of time.

2. Masses ain't shit. Again, we knew this going in, but people would rather fight about politics instead of looking for life-saving information. People would rather die than take paid time off. This was just more confirmation that the Internet hasn't changed the general intelligence of the masses.

You can bet on response by masses by who says what instead of the actual crisis. The masses have shorter memories than elite cornerbacks.

3. MSM ain't shit. Journalism is basically dead. Getting important information shouldn't require this amount of research. And a pandemic won't stop people tweeting bullshit for likes.

4. Universal healthcare doesn't mean a country is prepared for a pandemic.

5. Fast food is an essential business.

6. UBI is easier to implement than even I imagined.

A few:

-Two months supply of basic shit (toilet paper, paper towels, batteries, pasta noodles and sauce, matches, etc) puts you ahead of 90% of the country. Folks been running around for a month trying to figure out how they are going to wipe their asses.

-The time to have firearms and ammunition is before you're in a position to need firearms and ammunition.

-Office work is not necessary and outside of maybe a few meetings a week most of the work can be done from home.

-If the internet every collapses society as we know it is fucked.

I hate when white people say "The country didn't shut down for Sars and the viruses in the meme"

When Sars(under Bush) came to the United States, we had very few cases and no deaths.

When Obama had those three viruses to deal with he acted accordingly like most people would. He didn't demand to be praised and disregard health experts advice like Orange face is doing now.

Corona is worst then SARS. It’s highly contagious.

You can’t really blame anybody. This virus has hit almost 182 countries. Damn near the whole world is shutdown.

But I do blame trump as it shows just how unprepared the United States is.
 
The general public does not understand how far 6 feet is. Working during this Pandemic (telecom industry) I have to tell people ALL FUCKING DAY to back the fuck up off me.

I had a guy today GUARANTEE me that he was ok. (you know, just come in here and fix my internet) .. so I asked him; "can you guarantee that I am too? I mean I am going in and out of business all day, hospitals, retirement centers...."

He looked shook as fuck, and backed up after that... ol' dumbass.
