For some reason, our people seem to hate Trump more than any other group. Especially our sistas. While I do believe Trump to be the a bad president, I don't get why we seem to hate him so much. When I look at policies, I can't identify any that seemed to obviously be aimed at us as a people. I've heard him called racist but I can't identify anything he has done as President that was clearly racist towards us.

The reason i'm interested in this is that Bill Clinton was LOVED by us during his Presidency even though he enacted policies that CLEARLY were racist towards us and disproportionately affected black folks negatively. My hypothesis is that the media has the power to form our opinion as a whole. Lets discuss....

Bill Clinton is a racist for sure, but in 1992 he ran as a Democrat, campaigned hard to get black votes, so much to the point of going on the Arsenio Hall show and playing fucking jazz saxophone. That was all BEFORE black people were aware what was happening with the 1994 Crime bill and the 1996 Telecommunications Act. He was young. And he smoked weed. Hindsight is 20/20.

You can't compare Donald Trump to Clinton. He was anti-Obama the whole time Obama was in office. He's reversed or tried to reverse Obama's accomplishments. His campaign was built on racism. He was a known racist with the power to practice it (redlining discrimination). He uses black people as props. MAGA. Both Sides. Shithole countries.

Fuck you mean?

It's not the person per say but every thing and anything that's associated with the title and responsibilities that comes with it;which has never been in our favor even during abolishment of slavery.

It's the game of musical chairs, the only difference is there one chair a long line of players waiting their turn while that chair is still holding up after all of these years of the same game, same music playing in the background.

People bring up the crime bill but it was a reaction to what the black community was calling for and most black representatives voted for that bill.
It was a time when dems were being called soft on crime and were trying to look tough. Context is important.
Trump on the other hand came in on some some racist shit, brought in white supremacists to his cabinet, speaks to white supremacists hopes, and dreams, etc...

One thing white folk would say when it came to slavery is that most white folk didn't own slaves. Yet they benefited and participated in the mistreatment of the enslaved people.

Blatant racism, prejudice and bigotry are easy to hate, if Trump had instead hid it like every other politician tries to do ... he might have a higher percentage of the Black vote. Subtle racism, prejudice and bigotry are a lot more easier to ignore or even make excuses for.

Bill played saxophone on Arsenio, so apparently he was “Black” and for Black people after that.

That's way oversimplified.

He was a Democrat first and foremost.

Everything else about him, the weed, saxophone, kissing black babies, campaigning to black people hard is what made Black people embrace him more.

Name one black man who has taken out a full page ad in the NYT advocating that 5 white teenagers be given the death penalty for a crime they'd been found not guilty.
and didn't even apologize when it was confirmed they were not guilty.

The incident w/ the teens was more of a condemnation of the entire NYPD than it was Trump and his racists cohorts.

Most of NYC thought these dudes were guilty based on the tactics of the NYPD and a maj newspaper printed this article.

Trumps entry into the political arena and his base was formed by attempting to humiliate the first Black POTUS.

First w the birth certificate then w asking to see his transcript and now overturning everything he does.

I truly believe that O’Bannon has convinced him that his primeobjective as a white nationalist should be to make sure
that Obama will not be historically a celebrated President.

Make sure their great grandkids read the Obama paragraph and not chapter in the history books.

I question the integrity of any black person that embraces Trump. Someone recently posted melanias birthed video.

I don’t dismiss OPs question because people have short memories.

Kiss evryone you know over 70.(aside)

Carry on.....

I was thinking about this other day and how we(blacks)give anyone connected to Bill a pass...the same thing with Obama...Black Folks love Joe Biden because Barack picked him as VP..then i started thinking about what Dick Gregory said about Bill Clinton "using our address"

You are obviously not from New York. If you are, you were sleeping while he was railroading black teens to prison or Not allowing blacks to purchase space in his apartment buildings. If you missed that maybe you missed how he single handedly bankrupted Atlantic City.
Before doing that how he used illegal workers to build the casinos and broke the union there or maybe when the small guy that got contracts to work on those casinos got stiffed and lost everything because they mortgaged their homes to cover supplys to complete the contracts and pay workers. I explained this to a Trump supporter and was told it was just business so I maybe just wasting my time.

your hypothesis is correct. The so-called black community lacks culture and is based on a matriarchy system which encourages men to act like women emotionally. The so-called black man has been relegated to the bottom and most let their women lead and influence their thoughts because they don’t have a rulership mentality.

I also think most hate trump out of envy because they are pro-white (which are the people that try to be equal to the Caucasians) so they automatically hate Caucasians that don’t cater to them but worship Caucasians that give them crumbs.

the problem isnt just trump but all whites in political positions. the two party system is just a distraction to the lambs.

The loudest detractors just hate him because he is a republican. Our women hates him because they buy in to the whole left philosophy. White liberals love kissing our women's asses.

There's a damn near 50/50 split between us. Trump being with the criminal justice reform gave him a lot of quiet voters. You can tell because the hip hop isn't all about dissing Trump right now. It's really silent on that front compared to when Bush was in office.

It's because the democrats and the media told you to hate him. No one hated Trump before he ran for president. His housing discrimination case has been public record since the 70's yet no one called him a racist, white supremacist, etc.. He had a hit show on NBC for years and no one hated him. His actions with the central park 5 has been public since the 80's and no one hated him. Many of our so called Black leaders like Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson had no problem with Donald Trump before he ran for President and were quite friendly with him. Rappers were calling themselves the Black Trump. A lot of Black people seem to have an emotional tie to the democrat party and will support any of the bullshit they propose no matter how ridiculous. Many Black people have taken down the picture of white Jesus and put up Obama instead so of course they will hate anyone who has anything bad to say about him. I was proud to have a Black president too so I can understand to some degree. Racism is a trigger word for Black people and the democrats and media know this so it's easy to manipulate Black opinion by screaming racism. But when it's a democrat who's a racist they get a pass and all is forgiven. Perfect example is the governor of Virginia with pictures in KKK gear and Black face yet the media, democrats and Black people are silent and no one is calling for him to resign and the story is dead.
