However, according to Florida public records laws, since no one is being criminally charged in the incident where several bags of meth were found, they are legally required to release the footage in a speedy and prompt fashion. To request the BWC (Body Worn Camera) footage, people should cite case number 2020-00021902. The footage in question comes from Officers Gomez and Maldonado.
With enough push from the public and citizen journalists, hopefully we can learn what actually happened that night. The public deserves to know, especially as Andrew Gillum continues to lie about key details, including the fact that he was allegedly in town for a “wedding”, something that the male escort he was with denies hearing Gillum ever mention.
