I always preferred how Texas handles situations such as people coming on property to start shit or steal shit.

If you had more states with laws like this people would think twice before doing stupid shit like showing up at someones house with a crowd and starting shit.
Apparently they are pretty serious about that law in Texas too. Because I was watching a repo show and a BMW got repo'ed and guy thought it was theives and pursued them on highway shooting at them. Texas ranger showed up and told him to put gun away and them to give his car back it was a civil matter. Cop and repo men were white, shooter was black. The cop sided with the shooter.
A few years back I seen a story where a guy shotgunned some punks that kept steeling wheels off his cars. Under tresspassing laws nothing happened.

Prosecutors Announce Charges In Fatal Shooting Of Hazelwood East Student

(KSDK) - St. Louis County prosecutors announced second-degree murder charges against a Spanish Lake woman following a shooting that left a 15-year-old Hazelwood East High School student dead and a 16-year-old injured.
In addition to murder, Alma King, 51, was also charged with first-degree assault and two counts of armed criminal action.

Just after 3 p.m. Monday, police said anywhere from 12 to 30 teens gathered outside King's home in the 1100 block of Prigge Avenue in Spanish Lake.
Police said the group followed a fellow student home, hoping to see the conclusion to a fight that started earlier in the day at Hazelwood East.
St. Louis County police officer Rick Eckhard said King and her son fired multiple shots. King's son has not yet been charged.
Jocquees Billups died at the scene; the 16-year-old was transported to a St. Louis area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Crisis counselors were on-hand Tuesday in the Hazelwood School District to provide support to students and staff.
There were also additional police officers and security at Hazelwood East to ensure safety on the campus.
King is being held at the St. Louis County Justice Center in Clayton on $1 million bond.
Where they fucked up was shooting the kids OUTSIDE of the house. In most places you have to be in your home and someone bust in, THEN deadly force can be justified. I remember my 6 grade enlish teacher telling us about getting a gun because someone had robber her house. And she told us the State trooper doing the training course said "The law says they have to be in your home before you can shoot them so be sure to drag at least one foot across your threshold before we get there."

They have a station on road 367, right near not more than a quarter mile from Hazelwood highschool. Cops should have been there in less than 2 mins. FLAT.
If she called the cops, she was right.
Reports are saying, and it looks like where they were picking up shells, she shot out the door. I think someone kicked that door in.
My personal OPINION.
If she fired at running teenagers then yes she was wrong.
But even the dudes family, I pray for his soul, even dude that died, his fam said he was with the wrong crowd. Black dude.
These were kids, not playing games. They would have seriously hurt someone.
If this woman was righteous, THEN this is a chance for black people to say, STOP. The fucking ignorance in STL needs to fucking stop. If you fuck with someone at their home. Don't do it without expecting back, because that homeowner may over do it.
But the fucking prosecuters are making smirking comments about she has no defense.
Their going to do all they can to her.
