Started ep one... ten minutes in. This will be a very good show.
I finished this yesterday.
It's fire....
To those who may be interested and not familiar with the comic....
Remember the type of attitude that "the Comedian" had in Watchmen?
....the heroes in this series are on that level, but they have actual powers. They are very flawed.
The "heroes" in this series are not cookie cutter "do-gooders".
The most powerful hero is the most malevolent.....dude is colder than absolute zero.
This is my first time viewing an original on Amazon....and will look at others.

I just got turned onto this today. Liked the trailer, will watch the season.
Just finished the finale, dam Lucas Hood killed it as Homelander on this. That ending tho, can't wait for s2. With the tick not getting a s3 and Too old to die young most likely not the type of show to have more than 1 season, I'm glad at least this and Carnival Row will at least have more seasons for me to look forward to next yr. Now time for me to watch this Euphoria and City on a Hill. HBO better execute Watchmen well

Yup. They hit you with he's clean, doesn't drink smoke etc, then slowly showed you how fucked up he was, capping it with the doctor saying he was a mistake. BOOOM!!!!!!!

It exists in this toned-down format. That's what I love about comics. Comics get away with the wildest shit where the big screen (and the little screen) can't.
Wanted? That was a perfect example of this. They toned it way the fuck down.
Another thing for these comic shows in streaming platforms i think 8 eps is the right amount for binge model, those netflix marvel shows being 13 eps dragged out too long for me, i think only the defenders was 8 eps. Loved the cast for this too, Lucas Hood killed it as homelander. I wanna fuck Maeve and Starlight

If you mean A-Train, he’s not an original Seven. The team name has way more relevance than just a count of the team. Probably in the 2nd season they’ll start breaking down the heroes...
