let me educate you on a few things
fact: an NDA does not stop testimony in criminal investigation / subpoena- if these people were under an NDA a US attorney or DA would have put parents and kids in front of a grand jury to compel their testimony -under threat of jail for contempt
For over a decade the FBI couldn't breakdown or get any of those families to change up their stories with that kind of leverage
The FBI interviewed the settlement recipients - an NDA would not stop them from going to jail for lying to the FBI or refusing to testify at a grand jury in the 2004/05 criminal indictment
