Let me explain this to you slowly. Earth has a gravitational pull. So when we jump, we fall. We don't fly off into the sun, which generates a greater force than the Earth. It's the same thing with anything in space inside our solar system. The force generated by the sun influences it in one way or the other. It makes it move. It's called solar system for a reason. Because the sun is the king of its space.

But you're misunderstanding Tex. Alex said gravity does not come from mass, it comes from the sun. Tex and I disputed that. Tex isn't saying that the sun doesn't have a gravitational force, that's ridiculous. He's saying that the statement that gravity does not come from mass but instead from the sun is incorrect.
And if you saw all that but somehow missed the part where Alex said gravity doesn't come from mass and we stopped teaching that years ago, but still somehow think he has a firm grip on how gravity works...man I don't know what to say.
