Ashanti Show canceled only sold 24 tickets ....

R&B singer Ashanti's latest concert has been cancelled - after only selling 24 tickets. The concert was to take place in Long Island, NY - Ashanti's HOME TOWN.

Unfortunately, Ashanti no longer receives love from the city where she was born and raised.

The concert was supposed to be at the State University of New York at Stony Brook University. But the school had to cancel their 'Back to the Brook' concert.

The Roots could come back to Philly and that show would be packed. There is a lot of love for shitty music in Philly, but the majority of us still respect and love talent.

The promoters have to take a lot of the blame for this. Im thinking the tickets must have been too high or something bigger was going on the same day. She doesnt have any new heat but she got a respectable catalog that people fuck with.

Ashanti can at least get 300 people under the right promotion. I would say no more than $25 for a ticket though. If they were trying to get $50 or more I could see how she flopped.
