Nah. That's not how battles work, b. It would only be over if they were battling for lyrical supremacy. This wasn't that. This is two dudes beefin over some personal shit. MGK can acknowledge that Em's overall contributions to Rap are GOAT level and also call him past his prime at the same time. Larry Holmes called Ali the greatest of all times before he beat the shit outta Ali.
Side note, reminds of Tupacs line in Hit 'em Up:

Bro his daughter was a minor at the time he made that comment. She was like 16 or younger. And to top it off, after the so called phone calls and meetings that happened behind the scene he still discussed the comment years later in a radio interview. At that time he could have been like "nah I'm not talking about that" but instead he doubled down on the comment and tried to justify it by saying "well I was 20, 21 at that time" as if that's making him any less of a pedophile.

Im a Em fan but I think his original diss on Kamikaze was better. I was expecting something on the level of how he murdered Benzino. This was just so-so for me. So since Em basically has 2 disses out to Machine Gun, I say its more like 1.5 Em - 1 Machine.
I just think Em replied cause he kinda felt pressured by everyone sayin "Em better come back!" " Ems gonna end his career", etc. But i think if him and Budden went at it then thats when I think he would actually put effort into it cause he knows Joey knows some inside info and hes actually lyrical. But if Em comes at Joe like THIS...Joe will kill that nicca.

As you said, I expected more from Eminem than this. I believe the beat was too soft. I'm old school so, I like hardcore Beats. Eminem seem to really just be getting started when it ended
I didn't. It sounded like he went half assed on it and still got tha job done, which is all that was required.

Mgk shit sounded amateurish and he's corny so I barely made it through once. Where as eminem shit is more dense so I wanna listen till I hear all the lines.

I like dense lyrics also.
Especially from battle rappers like Loaded Lux. But that didn’t make me want to hit the rewind button, when Eminem’s track was done.
Whereas, I hit rewind quite a few times on MGK, just to hear them beats & the hook & his very last bar, about Kim.
