Nah. That's not how battles work, b. It would only be over if they were battling for lyrical supremacy. This wasn't that. This is two dudes beefin over some personal shit. MGK can acknowledge that Em's overall contributions to Rap are GOAT level and also call him past his prime at the same time. Larry Holmes called Ali the greatest of all times before he beat the shit outta Ali.MGK said on his Diss "I acknowledge you are the goat" There is no battle after that, it more like a backdoor Stan thing. Em won regardless on that
Just think if on Ether nas be like "FUCK JAY Z but he the goat tho BUT FUCK JAY Z"
Side note, reminds of Tupacs line in Hit 'em Up:Nah. That's not how battles work, b. It would only be over if they were battling for lyrical supremacy. This wasn't that. I know right. Staned him. That signing the starter cap line went over most dudes heads. I'm realizing there's an age gap here. These young dude don't appreciate a true MC. The lines go over their heads. Rap has been so dumbed down. Hip Hop is dead.
You're an EM stan too? I thought you would be into MC Jin.Y’all really think this was weak??? LOL what???
Side note, reminds of Tupacs line in Hit 'em Up:
"Niggas lookin' like Larry Holmes (look at De La Soul!) Flabby and sick."
Yeah De La ..is dopePeace,
De La would never manufacture beef with rappers half their age because they’ve got an axe to grind though. They might be gray but they’re making grown man hip hop.
Peace,
Hip hop is dead because your favorite middle aged white rapper is coming off looking like a fool? Man, stop it.
It'a dead because you clowns like mumble rappers, autotune, and ghost riders. No fucking respect for the game.
Bro his daughter was a minor at the time he made that comment. She was like 16 or younger. And to top it off, after the so called phone calls and meetings that happened behind the scene he still discussed the comment years later in a radio interview. At that time he could have been like "nah I'm not talking about that" but instead he doubled down on the comment and tried to justify it by saying "well I was 20, 21 at that time" as if that's making him any less of a pedophile.Peace,
Man all he said was some shit like ‘No disrespect to my hero but his daughter is fine.’ If he’s rattled by that - especially after all the shit he’s talked over the years - he’s the worst kind of thin-skinned hypocrite I can think of and he deserves this L it looks like he’s taking.

As you said, I expected more from Eminem than this. I believe the beat was too soft. I'm old school so, I like hardcore Beats. Eminem seem to really just be getting started when it endedI actually expected more from Em. I still think Em's response was better but not by much. It sounded like Em was just starting to get at MGK towards the end of the track.
I didn't. It sounded like he went half assed on it and still got tha job done, which is all that was required.it was aight, em set the bar so high, i expected more
I can see the Swayze bit going over this new generations headAnd that part about calling Interscope, referring to Patrick Swayze's character in Ghost. Craziness.

I felt the exact oppositeEminem’s shit was mediocre.
(Yo Em, don’t respond ‘point by point’ to every last single thing the opponent said about you.)
And unfortunately, Em’s beat was wack... compared to MGK’s beat.
Sure, Em is the better lyricist... but Kelly’s bars had more impact... And MGK’s track has more ‘replay value’ overall.
Eminem’s track is... one & done... as far as ‘replay value’ goes.![]()

I felt the exact opposite
Mgk shit sounded amateurish and he's corny so I barely made it through once. Where as eminem shit is more dense so I wanna listen till I hear all the lines.
Yup....yup.....Eminem’s shit was mediocre.
