Drone stans get in here

Don't waste your money buying a drone. Build your first drone so you can learn. So when it breaks you are not stuck with high repair costs. Most drone pilots don't know the important parts of a drone. I recommend building your first drone to understand how the components work together.

which one you build?:hmm:

The battery drains quick on the Mavic air. 15-18 min tops. Got to buy more batteries ASAP.

Qav 210; qav 250 I started from the ground up playa. Go to get fpv.com and search qav 210. Educate yourself. I would post pics but I'm at work now. Also search dallasdrones.org. I purchased my first setup from these guys. More info than most willing to get into.
FAA rules and all types of drones. Carbon fiber frames. Custom motors. Catch up!

Mine came Thursday! Got a used phantom 3 for under $400...

But the weather is shitty here in Houston today so I can't get out there and play with it the way I want to. Hopefully I'll have better weather next weekend

Upgraded the antenna on my DJI Phantom 3 standard last night. Took a good 30 minutes but the entire process was fairly easy...

How did it turn out? Any noticeable improvement in performance? What was the cost?

$60 on Amazon. Comes with everything you need to do the install, but I recommend having an exacto knife on hand to cut thet the silicone they use to hold the connectors in place on the inside of the remote.

I haven't taken it out yet but when i connected it in my apartment just to see if I'd get any error messages I saw way more satellites and a picture on my screen that didn't skip out at all. That's rare because I live close to the airport and in an apartment complex.

with all that interference it seemed to be way stronger. I just need to find a decent place in Houston to test it out. I had been going to this park where my kids play but I want to try somewhere else
