Mavic Pro2 coming in March
that's why i didn't bother this time around rushing to get one. i heard the battery sucked terribly.
would like to build one eventually. looked at some plans and it's not hard at all....

Qav 210; qav 250 I started from the ground up playa. Go to get fpv.com and search qav 210. Educate yourself. I would post pics but I'm at work now. Also search dallasdrones.org. I purchased my first setup from these guys. More info than most willing to get into.

oh never mind i see it only improves it by 3500 ft i guess that would be good for the standard
Upgraded the antenna on my DJI Phantom 3 standard last night. Took a good 30 minutes but the entire process was fairly easy...
How did it turn out? Any noticeable improvement in performance? What was the cost?
$60 on Amazon. Comes with everything you need to do the install, but I recommend having an exacto knife on hand to cut thet the silicone they use to hold the connectors in place on the inside of the remote.
I haven't taken it out yet but when i connected it in my apartment just to see if I'd get any error messages I saw way more satellites and a picture on my screen that didn't skip out at all. That's rare because I live close to the airport and in an apartment complex.
with all that interference it seemed to be way stronger. I just need to find a decent place in Houston to test it out. I had been going to this park where my kids play but I want to try somewhere else

You can get filters for your lens to take away that glare...its like putting on shades to reduce glare to get better video images
I started to buy some of those...I think I will they're fairly cheap
Just ordered a mavic pro platinum, I hope I actually like this thing. I had a hard time deciding between this and the P4P, came down to being portable and the features.
