Lyrics are there but damn Kanye production sucks dick on all four 7song albums so far......
I’m a fan of Kanye production but all this shit so far seems rushed. I think nas album should have been flushed out more. They had the opportunity to make something great and pissed it away. Being a fan of both nas and Kanye I must say I’m very disappointed.
Pusha album fit him he had 4 out of 7 for me
Kanye was all over the place it didn't really mean anything and is already an afterthought
Nas has about 4 out of 7 but 3 are super strong.
His bars are his bars but bars aren't everything otherwise we'd be listening to acapella records.
What makes an album great is bars/sonics/mesh/ and it don't past all those tests it's not a bad album its actually good just not an instant classic.
So much to discuss but im working right now. I will say this though Nas and specially Pusha lyrics carried the beats for me. I just think this whole 7 shit gotta go. Nas should have had 13 tracks. Kanye even said it himself the whole reason he was only doing 7 was so he can work on everyone’s shit.....
Dude could have took his time and let these ideas cook a lil more.

Yeah man Push said he had a whole album done with a bunch of Pharrell tracks and Ye heard it and decided to redo the songs with his production only
Imagine that. Pusha T and Pharrell. Might have been hell hath no fury type quality. Daytona is cool but still...should have been a mix of kanye n pharrell up to 12-13 tracks.
I’m the opposite, I can’t listen to the song if I don’t like the beat and rhythm. Then, I dissect the lyrics. It’s funny because I have to decipher the lyrics for my 15 year old. Youngins often don’t get the double entendres.
There just not my taste of music. Dont get me wrong, they have earned their stardom!! Im just a bigger fan of the indie/underound sound..
