Full disclosure: I went into Infinity Wars almost blind, having only seen <5ish Marvel movies (I know, I Know)...
That being said, I don't think this movie was meant to appeal to a casual movie-goer & I get that, so I won't judge it.
One thing that Im not sure was explained was the thing that Gamora knew that Thanos didn't know (a reason she gave she told Starlord to kill her if Thanos ever got to her).
Because her told her sister about the soul stone, I didnt think that was the piece of information. I thought it was something no one else knew but her.
Anybody have any guesses (or clues from the comics) what that is?
Yeah. Gammora told her sister she knew where the stone was but didn't tell her sister the location. So from that memory Thanos knew that Gammora knew exactly where it was. So technically Gammora was the only one who knew because she didn't tell Nebula the location.
That part makes me wanna go back and watch GOTG 2 because I only watched it once and don't remember that scene.

But, I understand Marvel was setting up the scene for Cap's grand entrance.....so I'll look past that small detail
And whats up with Thor just popping in someone else' eye, then a couple seconds later he could see out of it.....just like that huh?

I also caught that fact that Ironman, Spidey, Dr Strange, etc were breathing on other strange planets like nothing
I guess oxygen is plentiful on every planet in the Marvel universe
Shit reminded me of that Aliens Covenant movie, where dudes were just walking around on strange planets with no spacesuit, with no fucks given
But again, I'll look past that small detail
And Loki needed to die for that stupid bullshit move
1. He tossed the daggers at Hella, and took a big L...bitch threw that bullshit right back at him
2. He pulled out them daggers on Dr Strange, and took another L...Strange teleported dude to another part of the world
3. Then he tries that same bullshit move on Thanos??? Come on son!!!

as powerful as Loki is.....they made him seem extremely weak. Marvel doesn't expand the level of powers the guy actually has.
That scene isn't in GOTG 2.
Not to informed on visions abilities, but Scarlett witch in the comics is one of the most powerful people on earth.
And you right, in the movies she seems to only be able to do things when it's convenient.
Another thing to note was that ant man wasn't there to help with the fight because "he is on house arrest" but the war criminal cap was there.
The infinity story in the books was waay deeper than Disney is making it.
As fast as they were moving and the splitting it into 2movies they had time to keep it true to the comics.
Cause how he got the stones in the comics was amazing.
And this version not only doesn't have mistress Death, and no Adam worlock

The "Thanos will return" thing at the end is a call back to earlier movies. At the end of Thor 1, it said Thor will return in the Avengers....same at the end of Captain America: the First Avenger. I know it did it at the end of Spider Man Homecoming too....dont remember if it did at the end of BP. But doing it this time with the villain returning instead of the hero was just a call back to add extra weight to the fact that Thanos is the big dog on the block now.

The Gauntlet is the gold glove that Thanos is wearing that the stones fit into. It was made for him by the same guy that made Thor's new hammer in the movie.
