Why is healthy living considered "White"?

I went to a party last night. When I left the host asked me if I wanted to take home the leftover guacamole. I said no because on my new vegan diet guacamole is on almost everything I eat already. She shook her head and said "That is one of the whitest things I have ever heard." She's not alone. Many people have made similar comments when I talk about riding a bike up San Francisco hills, meditating, etc.

Likewise, I've also heard people talk about how unhealthy "soul food" is when in reality it can be VERY healthy if you prepare it right. People talk about brown rice being some "white hipster shit" when it was Africans that first introduced rice to America. European colonization has led to practices that have literally turned humanity into a sick joke so how has bucking that system become "white?"

Maybe they made those comments cause of your complexion

You were dealing with an individual who's ignorant.
I knew people who would make comments like that back in the day, but in 2018 most people I know are trying to eat healthier

Guacamole ain’t healthy and it is so white. It’s one of them new in foods that hipsters got everyone eating to excess
Why isn’t it healthy?

Moderation with serving size

The main ingredient in guacamole, avocados, are a nutrient dense food filled with heart healthy monounsaturated fats, fiber, potassium, vitamin C, vitamin E, vitamin B6 and magnesium. So why may you think you need to shy away from guacamole if you want to lose weight?

Avocados are fairly high in calories and fat. However, the good news is this is not a reason to stop eating guacamole or plain avocados.

A certain type of fatty acid found in olive oil and avocados could actually help keep you feeling fuller which could be helpful for weight loss.

Research has also found that when avocados are eaten as part of a healthy, lower calorie diet they do not increase risk for weight gain.

Of course, as with any food, moderate portion sizes should be the focus for eating guacamole. Also, health experts suggest replacing foods high in monounsaturated fats, like avocados and guacamole, with foods higher in saturated or trans fats.

So, for example, guacamole can be used in place of things like butter, mayonnaise or cream based dips.

Not an increased risk for weight gain
People wanting weight loss may view avocados and guacamole in a negative light because they have a relatively high fat content.

In fact, about 50% of South Africans believe avocados are fattening. A 2005 study from researchers in South Africa set out to dispel the myth that avocados are fattening. Researchers had study participants follow a low calorie diet for 6 weeks.

One group incorporated 200 grams of avocados into their diet which provided about 30 grams of fat. The other group ate a low calorie diet but got their 30 grams of fat from other sources.

Both groups had a similar diet besides the differences in where they got their dietary fat.

At the end of the study, both groups lost weight. There wasn’t any significant difference between weight loss in both groups which suggests avocados do not hinder weight loss.

Other foods higher in fat like nuts have also been shown not to increase risk for weight gain.

There isn’t need to fear higher fat foods while trying to lose weight, just make sure they are foods higher in heart healthy monounsaturated fats and part of a balanced diet.

Maybe you're hanging out with the wrong Black folks, make new Black friends that mirror your interests and concerns.....

I'm starting to now, but the question I'm more interested in is how did things get to be this way?

When Elvis and The Beatles did their version of rock and roll people correctly recognize that this was a white Distortion of a black medium. Meanwhile, an interloper like Paula Deen can take the worst parts of soul food, create recipes that make them even more unhealthy and somehow push this as the new standard. You also have a lot of unhealthy foods with almost purely European origins being touted as "Black" Foods.

I understand that there is a campaign to demonize Black Culture and blame it for all of America's problems. Many people have rightfully spoken against this on many different aspects, but how come nobody is talking about health?

You are correct sir, the fat in avocados is heart healthy fat and guac. is a very healthy snack. Of course, nothing is healthy if someone eats a bathtub full of it, but guacamole is a very healthy choice.

diet guacomole is the whitest thing i have ever heard in my life.

its whiter than Barry Manilow wearing a polar bear suit eating vanilla ice cream in a snow storm.

The evidence is really starting to pile up now.

Hey dipshit.

Where did I say I like guacamole? I don’t it looks like baby throw up.

Someone stated the opposite of every article I have read about guacamole and asked them why they think it’s unhealthy.

Go back and answer my question or shut the fuck up.

Ooh tough words. Why don’t you post your hand in this thread now? It’ll take 10 seconds.

Watch and behold people as he swerves this post again with more ad hominem attacks.

Like I said before. Answer my question first.

More swerving. Thanks for proving my point. Not that anyone takes anything you say seriously. It’s obvious what you are.
Yea, I’m sure they take you and Megatron seriously. You two are such like minds.

Go answer the question and stop swerving....

Are you going to answer the question? Yes or no?
:roflmao::roflmao2::roflmao3:
I rest my case. Won’t even answer a simple question. I’m glad everyone is seeing this. Don’t ever comment on any black issues again. You “infiltrators” aren’t slick. I’ve peeped game from you for years, I just let it slide. At least everyone is now wary of you.

Why is this so difficult.

Go answer the question I asked you first and I’ll answer yours

He's white, so in reality. Everything he does is actually considered "White" :roflmao:

I'm questioning your story because leftover guacamole isn't something most people offer other people to take home and especially if the party isn't as diverse as guacamole presents itself at certain functions for certain type of people.

Vegan-ism is hard to do and if you've tried it you know it takes a lot of discipline that most don't have to do for years....
