BGOL BLACK PANTHER Movie Thread [Denzel Washington to star in Black Panther 3]

Statham is a regular size dude - Kraven is not.

FF was filmed a couple of years ago...
but you are envisioning about filming for the next Black Panther and a much future Spiderman, thats maybe over the course of next 5 to 8 years.

Adkins is much more mobile and athletic in his scenes... and if you are talking Kraven a fighter that moves well enough to kinda keep up with Spiderman, vs Black Panther another fast moving fighter - their fights should cover more real estate and work vertically and horizontally more than any fight ever done on ff or any Statham movie to date

yeah, I don't doubt that Scott Adkins that could play Kraven... I just think that 'the way these Hollywood casting agents think'... they would probably pick Jason Statham over him... mainly because he has a 'bigger name' at the box-office... especially if there is no guarantee that Kraven will appear in several other Marvel movies...

However, I think if Kraven WAS gonna appear in both a BP2 sequel... AND/OR a future Spider-Man movie....

Pretty sure those same casting agents would most likely pick someone like Kit Harrington  over BOTH Adkins & Statham... mainly because Kit is younger  plus his 'celebrity / popularity is red-hot' right now  and it will only 'keep rising' throughout all of 2019 ... as the final season of Game of Thrones sends HBO viewership 'thru the roof'.

That's all.

Kit (who is 31) is definitely 'the right age' to play Kraven in a new Spider-Man movie with Tom Holland.

Can't embed the video but basically Donald and Stephen came in and gave notes on how to flesh out supporting characters like Shuri. Also, Ava and Ryan would talk through their process and bounce ideas off each other.

Yeah, Kit Harrington is listed as 5'8" tall... while Sansa is like 5'10".... and Brienne is 6'3". :D

He looks 'wild short' compared to them - lol. :D

Chadwick Boseman is like 6'0" feet tall.

Meanwhile, Both Scott Adkins and Jason Statham are the same height. They both listed at 5'10".

But if they REALLY wanted to cast Kit Harrington tho... his height wouldn't matter very much. :smh:

They would just work around the 'height differences'... and use all kinds of camera tricks and/or post-editing 'visual effects'.

- They adjust shooting angles.
- They use Trenches and Risers.
- They force perspective shooting to create the illusion of more height.

They might even make one person stand/walk on a 'wooden riser' while the other person is on the ground. (as seen below, in this 'behind the scenes' photo from the set of Star Wars:Empire Strikes Back)

They got all kinda different ways 'to make it happen' nowadays.

After watching this video for the 100th time, as an African✊, here is my interpretation of the visuals 0:00-0:20 His journey back to Africa, through the seas that millions of Africans lost their lives in when they were abducted as slaves.

00:20-00:25 Depicts Mama-Africa sheltering the young black princes and princesses (red caps usually signify royalty/leadership) and he immerses himself into the shelter of his real roots.
00:25- 1:00 SZA being a melanin bad ting dancing in the stars showing she has a rightful place in the universe.

1:00- 1:07 Post-Colonial Africa; showing the western impression on our fashion and lifestyle but the African expression in style and dance is still so prominent.
1:08 Explosions in the air signifies the civil wars in post colonial Africa.

1:45 signifies black panther movement back in America during the same period. And of course the movie

2:20 pink flamingo, Afro Caribbean carnival themed with red, gold and green patterns on the floor. Repping for Bob Marley, Rastas, and the Afro Caribs.

2:40 Just ART! Dark blue represents knowledge, power, integrity, and the seriousness in the African's faces... THAT IS AFRICAN PRIDE! SZA seems to be revelling in this as she is incorporating this in her African-American identity (she is wearing a puffy jacket –different from the tribal attire) in the midst of the Africans. Connecting to her roots.

3:00 his conquest leads him to a temple of goddesses –possibly exploring African spirituality. At the end of the journey he comes to face to face with 4 deities –maybe a moment of enlightenment.

@ Raze. All the rest of the stuff you have posted has been dope AF.:yes::yes:

But this one guy (Billelis) got my 'Spidey Senses' tingling like crazy.

:hmm::hmm::hmm: Culture Vulture // Emergency Warning :hmm::hmm::hmm:

Iono man. :dunno: When I went to his various websites to see more of his work...

This "Billelis" dude just seems like a BLATANT Culture Vulture for making this Black Panther art.

Go to....
- or visit Google Images and just type "Billelis" and look at all the results that pop up.

If you look at ALL of this guy's previous work... Everything he makes is very Satanic-looking. :hmm:

There's is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING in his entire online portfolio that he has ever done in the past that is even remotely connected to Africa, or Black People, or even the Comic Book genre itself.

So I'm asking myself.... Why does he suddenly have an interest in making ANYTHING related to the Black Panther movie? Hmm? :hmm:

That's not 'in his lane'. :smh: At all. :hmm:

In fact, he's never MADE ANYTHING that involves ANY Black People, or Black Culture whatsoever. :hmm:

SOooo... why did he start now?? With the Black Panther movie??

I hear what you're saying. The Bosslogic Instagram account has created a lot of Black Panther and superhero fan art while the other dude, from what I skimmed, has not. It seemed like two artists wanted to collaborate on a project together but who knows? I see more than a few non-black artists looking to hop on the Black Panther bandwagon.

Bosslogic was brought on board to do art and/or posters last year for Showtime/UFC/WME-IMG for Mayweather-McGregor. He's built his name over the years in the combat sports realm (has a really big following with his work and often gets retweeted and shared by the fanbase). Don't know much about the person behind the account. Haven't heard them interviewed on MMA radio or podcast formats.

Hey don't get me wrong... I have no problem with Bosslogic. :smh: At all.
I like what he has done, with all his 'curation' of BP fan art.

It was the OTHER guy (Billelis) who seemed like he would tell his buddies.... "Normally, I don't rock with Black folks whatsoever... but lemme hop on this Black Panther bandwagon".

But I don't get that 'same type of vibe' from all the other non-black artists who have also made some BP fan art, inspired by this movie.

That's all I'm saying.

Got mine for fri but I did check kodi I see the display for BP but it would not play. Like they have it their waiting for it to be uploaded.
